This is a genius idea! I have a couple of large mushroom punnets in my recycle box that I will now use for storing my kondoed underwear! It is true that the necessary storage items reveal themselves (with help from the posters on this thread!) :j

Very true - I Kondoed my clothes and donated a pair of dressy shoes with a shoebox (normally thrown out) and it's now holding my folded socks perfectly.
    Looking ahead

GreyQueen hope u feel better this morning and the music didn't keep you awake, I can recommend ear plugs ,they work wonders ( I have a DH who snores like a walrus:o)

I spent yesterday in the garden , weeding , mowing and planting and thoroughly enjoyed it . I was pooped after doing the back garden and so left the front garden until this morning , and now it hissing down  hopefully it will dry up soon .

I was looking at the frugaldom blog and she has and ingenious bird feeder made from a plastic milk bottle , I do have a couple of feeders in the garden but thought I might try this . I will have to get an empty carton from work as I have a doorstep milk delivery and so all my bottles are glass:rotfl:

Hurrah, I've moved from #39 to #24 in the library list for The Bible :)

I'm reluctant to try and get the book via you tube etc as I learn best with a book and quiet, both of which are in short supply in my house with 2 small children.

In the meantime, I'm sure I've seen an excellent instruction on how to load photos to the post, could someone remind me please? Thanks x

GQ It is now a faded Bluebell colour like when you see Bluebells in the woods where a bit of sunlight has just bleached them slightly :)

    Well you did ask :rotfl:

Its looking really nice my house is really sunny and bright with loads of windows so I like the cooler colours I am not a warm colour type of person :D So no earthy colours in sight in here. But thats just me ;)

So today as it pouring with rain here (sorry for all the people that are here for the weekend ) Its normally sunny and lovely in North Norfolk :) Honest :)

But I have done something MK wouldnt be happy with :( I belong to a running group on FB and I need some more running clothes as mine have seen better days and a lot has been Kondo'd.

A lady was selling all her stuff so I decided to have the lot
    10 pairs running leggings
    10 pairs 3/4 running shorts
6 pairs of running shorts

So a 4kg parcel is on the way to me for £40 including postage
All the brands I wear and the last time I got a new pair I paid £33 for one pair so it just had to be done :D

So will decide what to keep and what to let go when it arrives and take it from there.

So running gear will most likely have to go from half a drawer full to 2 full drawers full. So glad I have 3 empty drawers from Kondoing. But I will be able to Kondo the pairs I had to keep not that they spark joy but they were the only ones I had :rotfl:

Thats my confession for this morning so will get on with my day.

Just to add another excuse for the running clothes bonanza :rotfl:I was also fed up of having to put a wash on everyday as I needed to wear the clothes the following day.As I seem to wear gym stuff for at least half my life :) Seemed like a good idea at the time.

Now I am thinking OMG all that stuff coming in to the house  Putting me in to a state of panic. MK really does change your mindset before MK I would have been excited now I am feeling what the hell have I done !

If every item sparks joy I will have a right problem wont I :rotfl:

The couriers its coming with are not known for their reliability so you never know :-)

    Morning all,

So yesterday was a nice day mainly in the garden. Moved my pots around in the front garden and got rid of the flowers which have flowered and died. Also kondo'd the greenfly all over my rose bushes.

Then went in the back and kondo'd a tree which I loved but just randomly decided to die over winter :( it was pretty easy to get out so I sawed it in half and chucked it in the boot. Took it straight to the tip and did a chazzzer run on the way. Can't park next to it so only took the books and old towels for the rehoming centre. Then put straw down for my strawberries and kondo'd some white skin on the hammock :rotfl:

I was struggling a bit with clothes as due to my weight gain I can't get in most of my summer stuff and am short on work clothes. Bought a lovely work dress for £4 and shorts for £2 in one of the chazzers. Then went to Asda and bought an entire summer wardrobe  3 dresses, 2 vests, sporty shorts for beach, longer denim shorts and a new bikini. Will do me for the rest of the summer and can take it all on holiday on Friday :) glad I bought it as it was around £80 for an entire wardrobe which I can afford but was wearing tatty or too small stuff but now my new clothes will bring me joy!

Today I am going to have to re-Kondo my clothes. I knew I had quite a bit that didn't fit but omg the mess! My suitcase broke on my last holiday but I had been using it to store clothes in. My new one arrived yesterday so I put the old one on gumtree for storage and a lady came round which meant I had to empty it. Along with all the washing to put away and my new stuff my room is like a jumble sale. That's not taking into account the big stack of too small work clothes in the wardrobe! I need to be ruthless but the problem is I like most of my too small stuff. Wish I had bought some vacumn storage bags for all my winter jumper dresses and cardi's but don't want to go out in the rain! Will post before and after pics of jumble sale mess if someone can post instructions?

Mav could you pack half away and wear the other half until it runs out?

It seems like a lot but it will be v handy if you run that often. I used to go gym everyday (and will again when I return from holiday :o) and only had 4 gym outfits and it was such a pain constantly having to wash even if I didn't have much other washing. So think of the savings on the cost of washing! I would like to have 6 outfits but I can only wear shock absorber bras at £30 each so it's not feasible :(

Clippy Girl Think I would have to run about 100 miles a day to wear that lot out :rotfl:
On the note of the Shock Absorber bras I only wear them as well. I have 6 at the moment some looking a bit worse for wear !

There is a outlet on E*ay that I get mine from I paid £13 + postage for 4  the last time they always sell on BINs and you just have to keep checking for them to have your size. But totally worth the agro of keeping checking :D Just put in search bar Shock absorber bundles as I cant remember the name of them if you cant find them let me know and I will have a look and send you the link

I am feeling a bit better about the running stuff and will wait until it arrives and deal with it then .Have a nice holiday great prices on the holiday wear ! Well done you :-) Very kondo as you love it all :-)

I used photobucket and uploaded my pics onto there. Each pic gets a url beside it and I copied and pasted that into the mse reply and when I hit post the links turned into pictures - job done. I have been on this site for years but only just worked out pictures today.

    These instructions??

More paperwork kondoing today in search of the elusive Very Important Bit of Paper..............:( I have noticed though OH has picked up one of the many boxes of paper littering the study floor and is standing over the recycle bin as I type...........infectious kondoing. However he is convinced that most of it will be mine............little does he know I made a pact with myself over a year ago to keep on top of paperwork and by and large it has worked.......I just havent been ruthless enough I now realise...........I have now seen the light and last night watched Spiderman ( which I enjoyed, surprisingly as its not usually my thing!) whilst sorting out pensions. shares. AVCs etc etc paperwork and getting it in order:) This category has been forced on me to get sorted. It wasnt in my line of fire just yet but I am beginning to feel that KM lightness pour over me despite other stuff that needs sorting that I though would bring that feeling...........so looking forward to the end of all this and being completely light headed:j

Just noticed we are quickly heading towards 5000 posts..............does a new thread start then??
