Oh, I do envy the OPs who have a collection service for their kondoed stuff!

Nothing like that round here. Just the Council food waste and recycling (paper, plastic, cans and cardboard) weekly, and household refuse (tightly restricted) fortnightly. I have to get glass to a bottle bank, too. :(
    Needs, NOT wants!
No food waste since November 2010. :j
    No debts.

Tea Lady I rent and have a loft, garage and two sheds! Apart from gardening stuff they are empty though which is great as it has the potential to be

Found a few more bits to sneak into that charity bag. Kitchen (specifically the tupperware cupboard) is on the list for later today, once pesky work is out of the way.

    Morning Konverts! :D

Well I was all geared up to start Kondoing my clothes this morning but hubby is off work with man flu! :(
I don't think he'd be too impressed if I threw all my clothes on the bed whilst he's trying to sleep! ;)

Anyway, I decided to do my linen shelf instead.
I didn't think there would be anything to discard and I would just be reorganising it. I was wrong! :o

    Into the charity bag went:
    2 X double duvet sets **
    2 X single duvet sets **
    1 double quilted mattress protector
    2 X quilted pillow protectors
    7 X cream pillowcases

    Into the ragbag went:
    3 X pillowcases
    1 single quilted mattress protector

** I had these for when we had guests stay the night. It must be 2 years since anyone stayed over. We don't even have a double duvet for the covers now! Why have I kept them? :o On the remote chance we have visitors, they can use the clean bed linen that we usually use.
Also, the reason I kept the spare mattress protectors for when I was washing the better quality ones that are usually on our beds. Why?! Gone now!

EDIT: I also bought more pillow protectors last year because I couldn't find my spares. I have found them now, hiding at the back of the cupboard, and they're all neatly folded ready to use.

Thought I'd post a pic of my linen shelf now.
Sorry I forgot to do a "before".
I love seeing before and after pics so please post some! :o

I'm not entirely sure about the bulky duvet sets, because I used to store them in piles but I can see how having an entire bed set in one pillowcase makes things easier.
I also had to stack the pillowcases because I think they'd fall down the gaps in the slats if I stored them vertically.
Not as neat as I'd like but it's organised!

Looks great clutter free! If you store them left to right rather than front to back then they don't fall through the slats.

I'm still doing shed stuff today, it's taking ages as it's involving disposal of all the old felt and plasterboard and wood from the old shed. I'm not allowed to do any heavy lifting as I'm pregnant (due end of July) so I'm having to rely on OH before I can get on with some tasks. It's a little frustrating as I am so used to lugging stuff to the dump and feeling the joy of getting rid exactly when I want, whereas he hates the dump run so it's built up.

Hope you are all enjoying the lovely sunshine today!

Looks good! I don't like storing duvet covers inside pillowcases, think it ends up taking more room. What I used to do is fold the cases inside the duvet (like how they are when you buy them) so they remain together. Only have one spare set now so mixing things up isn't really an issue. It's just DH and I and we've only had one overnight guest in the past five years or so. So the guest bed and all the related stuff went last year and we turned that room into an upstairs second lounge. :D

Tupperware has been Kondoed. Found a massive stack of lids in the back (it's a blind corner cupboard) that will be going. I use the bottoms as drawer dividers and pantry/cupboard sorters (they are just cheap basics/value tubs that were bought on clearance) so there's no need to hang on to the lids as I'll never use them as actual containers.

Moved all the tupperware into a deep drawer that held spare plates and such which were Kondoed earlier this week. So now that corner cupboard is half empty, the bottom shelf has all my cake supplies. Which I am very tempted to rehome as I never bake sweet treats now.
