DH did his bit yesterday and rejigged the loft and some more stuff was put away, his ancient collection of Airfix (sad I know, but much loved) which has cleared the last bits away in our bedroom, which now looks very serene

I haven't done much of late, just little bits here and there. I'm away for a few days of training this week so I shall take the book to re-read in the evenings and re-focus.
I reviewed my tupperware pile today and identified a stack of plastic to go to the charity shop along with a couple of dishes. I am also kondoing the sandwich toaster. It has brought much joy over the years in the form of delicious cheese toasties (and also several pounds
), however I rarely buy bread these days and it's sat in the back of the cupboard for a good while.
I need to go and put the clean laundry into the wardrobe and drawers - has anyone found that laundry is much easier post kondo? I don't end up rooting through the basket to find the stuff I like to wear to wash first because I like it all, and each laundry group pretty much fits into one wash (i.e. cool darks, cool whites etc). Plus if I don't wash the laundry when it's done I don't have any back-up stuff to wear!"Does it spark joy?" - Marie Kondo

I used to be majorly-resistant to the final stage of the laundry process, the putting-it-away stage. Mostly because there was nowhere to put it, or it had to be rammed in and it was an irritating chore (oh, what a first world problem, our great-grannies would laugh their stockings off at us lazy mares with our automatic washing machines).
But now, I find the thought of a rack of clean clothes awaiting attention a postitive source of enjoyment, because it means I can fold them up then line them up in their drawers with ease.:rotfl:Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Here is the honourable little lady herself folding an underwear drawer.”Pour yourself a drink, (tea for me now)

I wish my things could fold so small - perhaps with fewer cheese toasties they will! :rotfl:
Washing is being folded and I have removed a skirt and a pair of trousers from the wardrobe for kondoing."Does it spark joy?" - Marie Kondo

If I stored my bras like that, they would look like a tonne of rugby balls lined up
