I have lots of pens and pencils as well but they have been sitting in a drawer for the last 6 years at least because DH gave me a beautiful Mont Blanc set which includes pencil, ballpoint, rollerball and fountain pen. They are a joy to write with so I shall be getting rid of all the cheap plastic pens I've been keeping just in case.

Oh no I forgot about the small branch of WH Sm*ths we have in this house:(

I've decided that I just don't have time to read it all or I will get no tidying done at all!
I love listening to the Saturday morning programme on radio 4 and there was quite a bit of talk about this. I missed the first half of it so not sure if KM was mentioned but there was a lot of talk of getting rid of stuff and even one guy who had downsized to a campervan by holding everything and getting rid if it didn't make him really happy. Sounds like KM to me.
Anyway, must dash. Have fun kondoing peeps.

:) We've got your back, hun, best of British etc.

I've now got yesterday's washload dried and Kondo'd away. Used to hate putting stuff away, now I can wait to get a-rollin' and a-foldin'. All clothing now ready for work on Monday, and most of Saturday and Sunday to play with.

Am about to head out for a few hours, have already samosa'd the allotment shed stash of placcy bags, there might be something else up there which needs to have the MK treatment.

:p Failing that, I'll just have to do some gardening. Have a good day, folks.

    Morning lovely Konverts
well, lots of activity on here this morning:j
I too have found my home much easier to keep clean after kondoing.

All my clothes are still tidy and I hang my coats up straight away not just flung over a dining chair when I come in.

After the paper mountain was conquered last week and everything organized into ring binders and box files.
I run to open the post so I can file or recycle. My ring binders and box files are all matching in different patterns, in black white and grey. All lined up in my storage box pouffe.
Looks lovely. Im so proud of it. Only my lovely Konvert kult members on here wouldnt call me sad and understand the joy;)

Reporting back to say shoes and accessories done, although have people been including jewellery in this category? I havent done that yet but know I have loads to get rid of.

Edited to add - Oh no, all these bags! I guess they are kind of accessories too? Maybe not as far along as I thought!

I'm signing in to the Saturday Kondo club and hoping to get shoes, accessories and books done today. Telling you guys makes me feel like I am accountable to someone and therefore more likely to get it done :D

ps -I have deliberately missed the Archers all week so that I can join the 'kondo through the omnibus' club with some of you tomorrow too!

    See you there;)

I bought the book for kindle, two weeks ago and I haven`t dared start it yet, I have too much other stuff to be getting on with just now and kondo-ing seems so addictive, so it will just have to wait a while. Lol, however a flip n fold arrived this morning and I have filled a drawer with neat layers of tea shirts, long and short sleeved, flip n folded and then gently folded in half again so I have 3 distinct rows in each drawer and I also put 5 pairs of trousers in, all flip n folded too. Wow, I guess I am kind of kondo-ing as I can see every one of these garments at a glance. I also did a stack of jumpers and cardis and I cannot believe how I physically got so many items so neatly into just 2 drawers

I may open the book soon but I do realise that I still have to get rid of lots more to the cs, bags and scarves etc. Seems such a waste but no point keeping them if I will never use them, I have to let go and I want to start with my kipling bags, maybe later

ok I went into my bag box and found bags that haven`t seen the light of day for a long while but several are lovely and I want to use them. 8 bags, mostly kipling, are now in my cs shopping trolley. I am utterly stumped now, I have no clue as to how to store my other bags so that I can see them for use
