:) Aah, the simple joy of the samosa'd placcy bag. How nonchalantly I remove one from my pocket in the shop, flick my fingers and shake my hand gracefully to unfurl it. Pure style.......:rotfl:

I think samosa-folding is quite possibly addictive. As is sliding my hand among the clothes in the drawer, selecting the item, removing it without disturbing its neighbours. And, later, inserting the laundered and folded items back into the space.

Simple-minded it may be, but it's very gratifying.

Ha ha I had a vision of you pulling out your samosa bag to a drum roll. Then unfolding it to a round of applause from the amazed checkout queue.

:D And I think I should have a drumroll. I am waiting for another member of the Kult to catch my eye as I do it, so we can share a knowing look.

    Hi All,

I have just spent the last 5 minutes rolling on the floor with laughter. I just read out the posts regarding unfolding samoza'd placky bags to OH who immediately asked how you would do this. After I explained the way I thought it would be done he had to have a go and then another go. He's fascinated not only by the actual samozaring but also now the flicking open of the bags. He wants to carry one in each of his pockets from now on :rotfl:

The good news is he's happy to help and loves how little space they take up. I used to fold my bags anyway and I thought that they were small then but now they take up around a third of the space they used to. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Been kondoing the kitchen today. Have one box for charity and another box for DD. She is over the moon as one of the items she's had her eye on since I got it. I did try to get her one but they didn't have any more. She only had to wait around 14 years for it. I didn't play strictly by the rules though as this item does bring me joy but I just don't use it anymore as it's in the back of a very low cupboard.

Still have lots to do in the kitchen but will carry in tomorrow.

Ivee just done this with one of those tartan plastic laundry bags from the quid shop. It really works you have to watch her carefully where she holds the bag.

edit omg theres no hope for me ive even tried to samosa it
and it worked! A giant samosa!

I have just kondoed a big box of jiffy bags/bubble wrap and plastic post bags. I kept them to use when I ebay stuff but how many items did I think I would be ebaying:eek: I don't even use ebay very often as I find it too stressful. Anyway it has all gone in the recycling:j

I'm always secretly wondering if the other people in supermarkets are MSE'ers. Particularly ones with either weird odd shops of many items of few variety branded things ( I think these might be special offer shops, I don't know about that sort of thing) or the people buying 'sensible' food, missing out the premade food aisles.

I'm sure no old stylers are the ones bickering....I have seen an actual fight at the yellow sticker bit....

My Kondo'ing is going very slowly at the moment as I don't have much free time but have been trying to keep it going little by little. It would be nice to have a week or two off to do nothing but sort the house out but I'm saving my annual leave for the summer holiday so I don't want to Kondo the house right now quite that badly!

My drawers still look nice and tidy and I think I will be looking after my clothes better because of it. While folding a cardigan the other day I noticed the elbow had a stain on it. I would probably have never seen this if I was just throwing my cardigans into a heap like I used to.Off it went to the wash and it looks much better now.

Ds2's wardrobe is falling apart so rather than replace it we are going to get a chest of drawers and a hanging rail (the kondo influence) Is it very sad that I am thinking " yay I can kondo all his clothes":rotfl:
