  • Hi Judi24, lol it's so difficult to lose weight as i eat when im stressed and at the moment im totes stressed!!

You know all about staying healthy, me too, but i am trying :)

Im not looking forward to monday at all - i tend to go into denial but today im scaring myself with what if's especially when on the news was a 7 year old girl who had ovarian ca. bless her.

i do need to change my mindset and stay positive ... aint easy with this one im afraid but thanks for well wishes :)

Hope you doing ok - i pop on your thread :)
  • Another NSD today - didnt have one yesterday as put petrol in car.

Feeling positive today. Ive had a productive day at work, picked up DD2 from gym,had my tea made and now im going to relax and have a nice soak in the bath later on :)
Ive got a day of overtime tomorrow - on a positive im earning!
  • I had a pants day yesterday at work - but was thinking of the money so plodded on!

    Woke feeling good, productive...

    plan today is:

Declutter a room or two depending on time and im thinking of trying ebay again... im really not a lover of it but it is an opportunity to earn a little from clutter so from a MSE point of view i should go for it!

Ive been really good at saving money ie not spending, cutting back but i think im not as good as making money. Yeah i do overtime which i think is the quickest way for me at the moment but i want more options so gonna explore the site and see some suggestions.

Ive asked DH to sit down this weekend and write down our finances and see where we are up to  I want a 5 year plan.

Meeting sis tomorrow and looking at old photos so busy weekend planned for me...stops me from fretting about impending scan on monday :(
  • Had a rough nite - couldnt sleep and kept thinking of money!

OH in the process of compiling his debt list and so far its not good :(

I did manage to draft a 5 year plan last night as follows:

    1. The house will be sold to release equity and pay off any outstanding debts and hopefully leave deposit for a smaller property.

    2. I have quite a few challenges on the go and getting a little confused as they are "crossing" into each other. Therefore i am going to continue with the principles of them but join the 1% challenge as i feel this will be more suited to me focusing on one thing rather than "lots" of individual challenges. I am going to amend my signature.

    3. We need to make ourselves look attractive to mortgage brokers. The first step there for me is to stop living in overdraft.

    4. I want the debt gone in 5 years to be able to start building for pension.

Obviously the plan is subject to change but achievable.

I have never wanted to be debt free so much. I want the financial freedom, i dont want to be beholdent to creditors any more, i want security, i want a pension and i want to be able to help my children when they buy their homes.

Ultimately i want my health, to stop worrying about debts and be able to sleep at night would be good!

  • Thank you DFOD - i appreciate that :)

no not really but she said i can go gp tomorrow for results - so I was worrying then as that's quick!

I rang GP to say had scan and that the hospital told me to pop in tomorrow for results but I know that is not how it works - you have to make appt. GP surgery said if it was anything serious they would have faxed result over and as yet they havent. So im quite reassured its not as sinister as i was thinking. But GP practice was lovely and have taken my details and going to get results tomorrow and phone me - she said in the afternoon so just the morning to get through - at least i will be busy in work - ha ha
  • GP surgery have been fab and have reassurred me its nothing sinister just a little fibroid but want to do one more examination to tick the boxes - i'm so relieved :)

Another NSD - had a costalota bought for me today which was a nice treat :)

not much else to report mse wise today. still plodding on.
  • Who cares if nothing MSE was done today - great news re the scan, well not that you have a fibroid - but that's it's nothing else!!
