Thank you suttp8
slow and steady wins the race :rotfl:
Just feel fed up with it all - but i have to carry on - i long to go shopping and not worry about if i have enough money in the bank, and i would love to go to out to lunch or for a meal ... I'll get there ... money angel i need you !

reading my posts back i do sound fed up lol.
To try and spur me on ive been reading some diaries and i think i need to carry on posting daily to keep me motivated if i can.
Today was a NSD - i think 2nd of the month - cant remember.
I have arranged a free will for my mum and am considering doing one for myself and OH as well.
Im not going christening on sunday as cant afford it.
im looking forward to this weekend as i want to spring clean  I will see all the jobs that need doing but at least i can formulate a plan. The intention is to get house spruced up ready for putting on market. There are some expensive jobs that need doing though
Im trying to keep on top of housework so that my weekends are not taken up with it! - if i put the graft in and do each room at a time im hoping my plan will work!
The challenges im enjoying are NSDs, 20p challenge and weight loss old style. Im glad ive got nothing else to sell as i dont like eb*y :rotfl:
back at gp monday for check up/blood test - just need to tick a few boxes and then hopefully i will have closure on health issues0 -
just checking in
NSD 3 today. Getting pressure to go christening by friends so i said i "will show my face" - it might cheer me up to be honest. Just going to be cheeky and take minatures in with me (not the church) to sneak in my coke:eek: :rotfl:
I have started spring cleaning but stopped half way through one room as visitors arrived - didnt have the get up and go to carry on after they left - had a moan at the family for not pulling their weight - there are 4 adults in this house so why cant they all muck in EVERY day rather than once a week! - im totally fed up with themI just get accused of moaning again so ive sed my peace now.. dont know whether to carry out my threat of just everyone looking after themselves - do their own washing and cooking but we're supposed to be a family so i havent the will to carry it out!
I dont know why but i have opened up a savers account? It currently stands at £2.00 :rotfl:
My fone bill comes out tuesday which leaves nothing left in the bank except for £1700 od which is in the red btw  and £1 a day charge
Ive £20 in my purse and pay day not for another 3 weeks
Cupboards, freezer and fridge are stocked up and will be topped up by OH over the month so not worried on that front.
I dont need to buy anything and take lunch to work so should have lots of NSDs.
My only concern is petrol. I have enough for next week and will use the £20 to put towards it. Think DD1 & DD2 giving me cash for mothers day which will help
Another tough month - digging deep to find my positivity.0 -
NSD no 4 today - and i had a little surprise in my bank of a cashback sum of £10.00 which I totally forgot about - so i now have £30.00
Going to get my thinking cap on and see if i can improve my cashflow situation till i get paid.
Im also going to look at YNAB and see if i can get to grips with it... not sure as ive no idea about spreadsheets but there are classes on the web i can watch and maybe have a free trial.
Infact im going to have a look now0 -
Wow i have had such a busy week at work!
On a good front ive had lots of NSDs.
Im still reading up on YNAB - gaining access to laptop is difficult at the moment - use DD2 when I'm allowed hence why ive not been posting regularly.
I have manually been working out though a Debt snowball and if i can commit which i dont see why i cant i aim to be debt free (apart from mortgage) by July 2018 :j - omg i actually have a date! I saw the idea on you tube when i was reading about YNAB - i just need £200 to start - well i can use my overtime to start the process off! I will also tie this in with my 1% challenge and keep everything updated.
I have had all clear from GP so im delighted (just a tiny fibroid) woo hoo and NOT menopausal :rotfl:
2 weeks till pay day and counting :eek:0 -
Forgot to say - would like to be debt free before July 2018 before im 50 which would be amazing !0

Awful night ! i think i need a cat whisperer!
She likes to wake me up between 5-6am to be fed - ive tried to shut my door but it wont lock and she pushes it open and tears my papers/books till i get up and feed her
We had ran out of cat jelly so she had cat biscuits for the last 24 hrs and today she threw up everywhere - od on cat biscuits
luv her to bits though
At least i was up early and got shopping done with relative ease.
Just got to clean the house now :eek:0 -
OMG tried YNAB freel lesson but couldnt hear the teacher and they got pc literate with me which I didnt understand so put off by it. Though I could understand their principles so will try and follow them.0

Just delurking to say I had a cat that used to do that with cat biscuits. It's something to do with them eating them too fast and they are too dry. I used to put a drop of warm water on them and then all was fine. Might work for your puss? Saves on cleaning tooOSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10
