Annoying about the car but everything else is good news. Well done in keeping the spends under control:T

Thanks Paws - but since my last post its been 3 steps forward and 10 steps back!

The cat isnt well again so I had a few conversations with the vet - got a quote for short of £530 for basic tests and that's before an operation... now bear in mind - she is an "old" cat and did have an infection over a month ago which I think has reoccurred... and is very common in older cats... long story short after a trip to the vets we have more antibiotics - hopefully this will do the trick.

Reason I'm up so early is a combination of my 2 DDs have just come home after their separate nights out  One has been out since the afternoon - shall I hoover very early :rotfl:

DH has been painting all week but it is glaringly obvious where the glossing needs to be done! I have a few Friday's coming up so I hope to finish that off.

I caught up with a friend yesterday which was nice - we had a trip to the bingo (she had a voucher so it was quite cheap) and we had a little win - I was £20 up which went straight towards the vet bill ! Every cloud and all that :)

Well I'll finish my cup of tea now and see if i can go back to sleep but I just know I'm going to read diaries :p

I'm dreading the day my middle aged cats start needing treatments. I know I will end up paying anything to keep them well. Do you have insurance? I don't know how easy it is the keep insurance on older cars once you've claimed.

Nice work on the bingo! I love bingo. I introduced a well travelled friend to it (only at the pub), he admitted it was the most excitement he'd had for a while, his heart was beating very fast!:rotfl:

  • No Paws - we have no insurance. Its very common for older cats (she is 15) to have urine infections which I hope is all it is - I'm praying these antibiotics work and she is well gain. It's such a worry.

I love bingo too - a large bingo win is what I need at the moment for more than one reason:D

I hope I have a good week - beginning to feel the strain of everything
  • I've decided I'm going to take a break from posting - I'm feeling overwhelmed with everything again - apologies as the support i have received has been wonderful. I don't want to "run" and leave you wondering what has happened - I just need time out for now and I will still be fighting the debt x
