  • omg - what am i doing considering a holiday!

i posted on another forum today the fact that i owe tax credits approx £2500 which they havent chased me for even though ive set up DD and as they havent took it ive ignored it. i have been quite rightly advised not to ignore the situation its a priority and I wont ignore it any longer (2 years) and will start to sort it out. Got to rethink my budget.

On top of that i checked noddle account and found discrepancies with Lloyds debts (which i have asked advice for on another forum) - im feeling stressed now.

Its OH meal tonight for his bday - treat to us by inlaws and i dont want to go.

Please remind me that its good to sort these things out and its why im here as i totally want to ignore the stress.
  • calmer today: forgot to record yesterday was a NSD :) im getting a buzz out of these days. The actual amount I owe tax credits is £2706.19. Im going to sit down tomorrow and do SOA with OH and then compile a letter to them. I really dont know why they didnt take the DD as its all set up with the bank. Anyways progress being made to clear another debt.
  • Another NSD today :)

Im taking more of an interest in my finances since I joined the site and Ive been looking at noddle over the last few days; in particular my defaults with Lloyds. im so confused as i hate figures!

Today i just looked at the current account. the debt was passed to moorcroft and the way it is recorded is strange but final balance outstanding looks better than what i calculate it to be so not going to argue with them ;) - the next to review is the loan :( - ill attempt that next week.

The thought of making contact with anyone though gives me anxiety and brings back all the "bad times" :(
  • Signing in but not much to report as waiting for pay day. Still got £20 Tesco gift voucher in purse but actual coinage in purse reduced to £5 now which im still chuffed with :) though guilty of buying lunch today as i was being lazy and didnt make a HM one !! - could have been £3 up !!
  • Quiet day money wise. Spent my £5 on toiletries (should be free in my opinion). Staying motivated by reading diaries. Roll on pay day.
  • Used the Tesco £20 gift voucher to put petrol in car - tomorrow will be NSD as i got nowt !:rotfl:
  • im upset today as creditor asking me questions (put on another thread) and it just takes me back to the very bad times  \

I have a feeling it wont go away as she is asking me questions even though Im paying monthly - i can only wait and see what happens.

On a positive note its pay day tomorrow and i can update my challenges :)
  • Well today i have updated my challenges :) Not sure about committing again to ebay - will think on it as im not a fan although I should considering my dilemma below.

I went dentist yesterday and got a bill for £125 which wasnt budgeted for and is now causing me problems for the rest of the month. Its going to be another tough month for me again - need a money angel x
  • ive missed not posting my diary for a week! Ive been extremely busy with work and other issues but glad i can post again - i do need the focus.

Pay day came and went! The good news is that i am still on budget. Ive still got a few dd to come out, a night out with a friend tomorrow (just a bottle of well deserved house red to come out of budget) but its going to be a tough Feb!

i sadly didnt utilise the money ive saved by not paying car tax to pay back mum as the dental bill came in and it went on that.

I would like to do as many NSD as possible in Feb - actually should read WILL DO ;)

    Goals for Feb:

    1. i want to achieve 20 NSD starting today (technically Jan :rotfl:)

    2. continue to meet challenges
  • Yeah got a day off today :j

I havent joined a slimming club as really i cant justify paying around £25 a month to them! I think there should be a challenge on the forum im sure ive seen about losing weight - need to look further. Ive got all the books on how to lose weight ... no point just reading them hey !:rotfl:

Ive got a few more knitting orders which is great.

Ive got a box dye for my hair but tbh i just dont feel like going out tonight - debating on rearranging :(

I want to do something productive today - house is a bin :rotfl: i should do housework really - tidy house, tidy mind, ie focus on raising money!
