Happy Tuesday!
Well today I have spent a fortune, or promised to! All for the new place and planned for of course. In the form of animal bedding, feed and housing. Super exciting times here.
I still haven't decided whether to start a new diary or not but I might mull that idea over when having a bath tonight.....I may as well get my chill out moments in now as come 10 sleeps I won't have any spare time and I can't wait.
My savings are dwindling away but at least I managed to save them as I will not be using the card at all. The 0% runs out next month so once we're in I need to sort something out there.Debt - CCV £3792

My loans are due to be paid off with March 2018 pay. That means for the next 2 years and 2 months or so, I need to watch what I spend but enjoy the new place. In order to maximise our enjoyment I need to ensure I stay on top of the money but I refuse to let quality of life slip to make an extra £50 payment that month. My kids are only young once and we are currently in good health, so we live for now. Not for two years time.
So in order to keep an eye on things and breaking it down into single years, this is my basic forecast for 2016. My loans go out every month regardless and currently £100 goes to the credit card every month. When the 0% runs out, that may change as I may have to pay a bit more. This leaves me a little wiggle room each month for things that we decide we would like, or we need.
Today £21105.40
Jan £20,463.93
Feb £19,818.28
Mar £19,165.01

Jun £17,188.22
Jul £16,519.73
Aug £15,848.30
Sep £15,172.46
Oct £14,490.94
Nov £13,806.19
Dec £13,115.82
I'll mark off against this at the end of each month or the beginning of the next depending on when all payments have gone out where I am against the forecast. In fact, this may be the good starting point for that new diaryDebt - CCV £3792

Happy Wednesday!:j
Only 9 more sleeps until the big day!
I have organised the council tax and informed the water board.
Electricity reading can't be done until we move in so that is on hold.
TV liscence know.
Broadband and phone line can wait. I don't want to be interupted.
Grocery shopping hasn't been decided yet, should I get a delivery or should I go to Ald1 as normal.
Oil is to be ordered soon as we can't order too early otherwise it will be before we arrive and that's no good.
So things are ticking over!
I have been giving some thought to my new routine when we move as there will be a lot of animals to see to on a morning as well as the kids and myself.
Also money wise, the 0% that runs out next month, I am hoping to replace with a 0% Barclaycard that has a 0% fee too. I have never been accepted for a Barclaycard before though so we shall see if I do. I don't fancy paying the interest on a card that 0% has ran out on though.
I am waiting for a reply from the solicitor's again. It has been lovely over Christmas not having to chase anyone (as no-one was working) but it looks like here we go again! They need to get in touch soon as I need to transfer the rest of the deposit to them and there is a threshold of how much can be sent each day. You'd think they would think of these things.....and I guess they will want paying!
Today, I have brought lunch in and tea can be pinaculty which I can leave in the oven whilst doing the animals.Debt - CCV £3792

Happy Thursday!
Well tea wasn't pinaculty as we had a load of leftovers which I'd not thought about so they were well used instead of having to make something. It was just as well as I was a bit pushed for time.
Tonight we could have it instead though.
Today I was sorely tempted to buy lunch at work as I have change in my purse but instead I made myself put a qucik salad together. I am really pleased I did and in fairness it took 3 mins max!
Still waiting to hear from the solicitor to find out what happens when next week for the move, so I have gone to the 'supervisor' instead. No messing around this time.

It is Friday - yipppeeee!!! 1 week to go!
This morning I have added 2 services and one contract to the budget for the new place. I knew about these and for some reason didn't add them to the monthly outgoings. Thankfully they are covered by the 2 free council tax months. One benefit of paying extortionate council tax is that it makes the spare months worth it.
I have printed out the information forms that we will need over the first few days, ie where is the stopc0ck, the metres and so on. I will keep that in my bag along with my notepad and camera (phone).
The food delivery for the day after we move in is ordered, I will review it again next week to make sure we actually need everything I have ordered and by the same token haven't forgotten anything.
Over this weekend we will be getting everything packed again that isn't already and shipped out to my parents house ready for the move day. Next week should be living on bare minimum in the temporary house.
So, so excited for moving day.Debt - CCV £3792

It all sounds very exciting!
Well done on making lunch, that is my intention for the year to not spend any money in the cafe this year."These things take time but I know that I'm the most inept that ever stepped"0 -
Happy Monday!!!
Finally we are at that week we have been waiting for!!! A few more days to go.
So money wise, the CC's 0% runs out on the 1st Feb meaning that I have until my next statement, end Feb time, to sort out a transfer for it. I will do that when I am back to work on 25th. It may mean I get hit with one month interest but I will have to take that on the chin.
The loans are ticking over, which is a good thing.
I will need to update my addresses etc but again, will do that when back to work too as I have set up mail redirection for now.
Money will be tight, but hopefully all ok based on my figures - assuming they are right.
The first week's menu plan is drafted and I will finalise that today and tomorrow. The food order has been placed and I will go back through it today/tomorrow too.

Well hello Tuesday!
Where do I start....the move. Of course. The people we are buying off continue to be the most awkward, inflexible, controlling and down right mean people I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. That is that, I shall say no more other than roll on Friday night when we will be sleeping in our new house. I refuse to let them stress me out any more. We are nearly there.
Aside from that, we have Indian for tea tonight and it's all microwave which I am thankful to say will be our last microwave meal for a long time. I've completed the menu plan for the new house and it is looking good though I think I need to substitue a lasagne on Saturday as I think we are having that cooked for us on Thursday by a lovely family member, pre move meal! I don't fancy it 2 nights in a row.
Everything else is on track as expected. A lot of the deliveries are coming on artics which we are assured have been on site before but I must admit I am a bit nervous about it. We have the field they could use to turn in but given the inclement weather we have had, I don't think that would be sensible. Plus I don't want the field churned up before the horses even get to see it!
I'm planning ahead for the coming weeks, it is my good friend's birthday, DD's birthday and Valentine's Day. Now ideally I would like to make home made cards for all of these and do something special for each one. One thing I will do this year, move or no move, is to be organised with celebrations/events etc as I always end up rushing round at the last minute and it costs me a fortune!Debt - CCV £3792
