  • Happy Thursday!!! Friday is peeping round the corner and that means another week closer with only 5 to go!! 2 down already.

I am feeling back to my normal self completely today after my few stress days. Positive thinking, planning and an appreciation of my life :).

So I have some tasks to get done today and a few things to order online for Christmas and birthdays and I'm feeling pretty good about it all.

Tea tonight is a ready meal *shakes head* but hey, makes life easier!

  • Happy Monday!!!! We are now almost at one month until move in date!!! How exciting.

It was my birthday over the weekend and I've been given some lovely gifts including spa vouchers which will be put to use asap to keep the stress at bay! I'm feeling 100 times better again, despite being full of cold, so things are definitely back to where they should be. I've got most of the Christmas gifts I need to and we will start wrapping soon. Maybe tonight, to see what is outstanding.

I've bought seeds to plant when we move in. It's funny as someone said to me that getting things planted for 2016 growing year won't be a priority when we move as we will have our hands full. That couldn't be further from the truth as that is one of the biggest priorities when we move. The whole point of what we're doing is to grow what we eat, veg and meat, enjoy our animals, breathe in fresh air and where possible give up the commercial lifestyle.

Money wise, the debts are still being paid as planned however Christmas is eating quite a bit of my "spare" cash, though no where near as normal. We get paid on Friday which is a lot earlier than usual so I need to move that to one side until I would normally get it. I have plans for that in January!

  • Wednesday already. Time is passing which normally I hate but we are another day closer!

So DH Christmas gift has arrived, it's an incubator for the chicks on the farm :D Super excited!

The kids have all of theirs and I'm giving vouchers for the rest. Keeping it as stress free as possible.

The temporary house is ok at the moment as it's just us. We're expecting a house guest again after Christmas, date to be confirmed.

So in the mean time I'm working until Tuesday. Hopefully come Monday there will be very little left to do in the office so I can chill from next week. Then I'm off until the new year so I'll be chilling with the kids and the dogs.

I plan on getting all of our belongings organised ready for moving again. I need to make life as easy as possible when we move in as there's so much more exciting things to be doing on moving day than organising clothes and furniture! :D

  • I bought a new iron using my Tesc0 vouchers and it has now been used a few times. It's a lot easier to use than my old one, smoother. How strange as I thought an iron was an iron. Anyway, I have made a start on the clothes that have just been washed and they are ironed and folded and I'm going to start packing some in to cases again soon as we won't wear them all in between now and moving.

I have managed to empty (use) some of the boxes we had taken and would like to organise everything that is left in to one large box that can then just go in to my car on moving date. The clothes will be in suitcases and that leaves the bedding and towels which I will wash on the morning of the move and put in to black bags. If i can't wash them, I will have a washing bag ready to wash when we move in, assuming there are no problems installing the washer and so on.

I have a few days off with the kids from Wednesday morning. I'm having some me time on Wed morning then me, the kids, dogs and the horses from then on. DH is working through but we should have a few days together which we will enjoy.

Fingers crossed it is just us and there's no extra guests turning up to stay in the temporary house with us!

  • Paid today, a lot earlier than normal, so I need to be careful that it is still allocated properly.

Super excited as I've just set up the house insurance on the new house and booked the van to move our items. Starting to feel a litte real now :D

Happy new year to one and all!

I'm back in the office today and I haven't really thought about a new diary and such, which is what I normally do at this time of the year. Also the diary title I have is wrong now lol. I can't see the loans being paid off before their official end date of March 2018. That is fine with me though as the reason behind that is the purchase of the new adventure.....which comes to fruition next week :D.

Money wise I am still paying the £750 out to debt every month and will continue to do so. I think that's more than enough for now anyway :\:).

Current total is £21105.40 and counting down. It will start with a 1 soon!

Thank you both :) I have even bought some squirty hot choc topping cream in celebration of the move! We were going to start the day with a take away but that would SO not work given what we're actually wanting to achieve, which is the lifestyle change.

So instead I will be preparing a meal for the simmering oven then night before we leave (as we are in temporary accomodation and will be sat literally, waiting to leave) and I will bung it in when we get access to the house :D. We will maybe open a bottle of red to celebrate.

I have printed off a pattern to try and knit....you know....as I'm not very busy in the next month or two..... If I can have it done by Winter 2016 I will be pleased. ;)
