JoBatch - your plans for your time off sound heavenly, fingers crossed all that relaxation does the trick this month :)

AmyTurtleb- CONGRATS!!! Yay, so pleased we've got another BFP, been a slow month lol :T

Commiserations and hugs to all with AF

Still following SMEP which I'm amazed we're managing. DTD CD8, 10, 12 then we got a positive OPK so did it CD13 and 14 (today) as well. It's been lovely actually to make more time and prioritise sex rather than both being tired after work etc. Think I might get into scheduling it even when we're not TTC :rotfl:

Skipping tomorrow then DTD on Tuesday then after that it's SMEP done for the month. Feel positive because at least I know we DTD the right days which I wasn't sure we did last month. Fingers crossed!

    Morning ladies :)

FF put the crosshairs in for me yesterday, so can I be updated to 4dpo on the list please? I did call OV too early, so we ended up DTD every night last week apart from Thursday as I'd been at the dentist for root canal. DH was pleased :rotfl:
I have a 12 day LP, so will test on Weds 18th if no AF. Trying to avoid pre-emptive testing as I know I didn't get a +ve until 12DPO last time.

I've suffered an unmitigated disaster, which only my fellow TTC ladies will understand ;)

My house has been on the market for a year, and finally sold in January. We've been badgering our solicitor on a daily basis about getting it all tied up so we could move to our new house in the last week of March. This was a very strategically chosen date, with my FF dates in mind.

Today, the solicitor calls and says moving day is going to be the 23rd. Smack bang in the middle of my fertile period, and right around the predicted ovulation date. "Is that okay?", he asked. Part of me wanted to say no, and he'd only understand when he and his wife were TTC, but having waited a year to get to this point in the chain, I gritted my teeth and said the 23rd was fine.

I have a feeling there will be minimal BD activity for me this month, so it's over to you ladies to get those BFPs rolling in. Can I have a consolation prize for my selfless sacrifice?

    Oh no, typical!

When we moved into our house, I was planning on getting it on in every room as soon as possible! Unfortunately AF had other plans, she arrived just after we got the keys and stuck around for nearly 2 weeks, it was such an anti-climax (so to speak!) I switched from Cerazette to another pill shortly after that

Congratulations on the house sale anyway!
  • Congratulations on the house move Cuilean

Moving house doesn't necessarily mean the end to your chances of a BFP this month. Surely you need to have a final BD in your old house to bid it a fond fare well....and on moving in day with tired legs, aching arms and a head full of bubbles from the celebratory bottle of fizz you need to DTD to christen your new house ;) Good luck

    .....and massive congratulations AmyTurtle :j

On the TMI point of work related toilet habits :o I can only do a number 2 in work if I am really really really desperate! But in saying that I do have a bashful bowl (as my OH so kindly puts it :rotfl:) I cannot go in public toilets....hell I struggle having a number 1 in most public toilets, and if there is a queue for the loos, or people talking in the toilets my poor bladder doesn't stand a chance of relaxing

Well after feeling sorry for myself yesterday and snapping at DH that we've left it too late because my eggs are all shrivelled up and useless, I decided to pick myself up and make a plan.

I think I've been so tense about it all because I thought DH wasn't fully on board with having another baby and because of how I know my MIL will react if I do fall pg, but then having spoken to DH today, he said that when it happens, he'll tell his mother it was all his idea so she won't badger me about it! That's just the best news ever as now I know he's 100% on board and I won't have to deal with MIL's attitude :T.

So onwards and upwards! This month we will be following SMEP, but I'll start earlier as I seem to OV earlier - got my flashing smiley on day 9 last month, solid smiley day 11 with Clearblue digital.

Here's hoping for a Christmas baby for everyone this month :xmastree:

Oh don't, that means it's the last cycle for 2015 babies...

My best friend gave birth yesterday. I'm so incredibly happy and proud but I can't help feeling rubbish about my own situation. I've told OH I want to try SMEP but I doubt it'll work - he needs to realise that you have to do it more than once a month!!!!

I think I'm just fed up with my situation. We've got savings but we're not moving house, not getting engaged or married and there's no sign of us having a baby anytime soon. Yet everyone else we know that are getting engaged, married or pregnant are riddled with debt! How is it fair that I'm working my butt off to have a nice nest egg so we can afford to do these things yet they're not happening :mad::mad:

Can you get your OH to actually read the SMEP page Lulu? I made mine read it so he understood what the plan was, and then I just tell him what days he needs to gird himself on ;)

I highly doubt he will. He's basically got the attitude of "but I'll be too tired after work" (yeah, like I won't be!).

I told him what's the point of him saying "Yeah we'll TTC" if he is "too tired" to DTD at all.

I've told him he needs to buck his ideas up and actually make an effort or I'll be going back on the pill at the end of the cycle.
