It's CD10 for me, so we're going to try BDing every other day for a while. Had intended on trying SMEP but forgot on CD8 and I can't face doing OPKs in work toilets next week, just keep putting off using them! Will have to next cycle if we don't get lucky this time though.

As the title says, AF got me today, so can I please be updated to CD1?

As expected, I'm feeling quite down about this, and I'm obsessing about my age (I'll be 38 next month). Added to this, DD3 was up at 4am as she was sick twice, so we had to change bedding, clean carpet and change pyjamas! Then AF turned up. All in all, a rubbish day!!

With my first three children, I didn't use OPKs or symptom spot, just relaxed, so I'm going to try that next month.

Oh mich, I'm sorry to hear about AF.

I'm trying to convince OH to do SMEP as we could start on Thursday. I doubt he'll play ball so I'm looking at other ways to help the process along. I'm so fed up of this game!

Anyway, I was googling and found this, which freaks me out a bit http://www.superdrug.com/microsite/the-stork

I watched precisely 12 seconds of that video, saw the two "pieces" and shrieked "OMG!" before closing that window like a guilty teenage boy on an adult website. Good grief. It's essentially an expensive wiggly turkey baster, yes? However, that is the funniest darned thing I have seen in ages, and I really needed a laugh today (Long story!) so thank you Lulu for sharing!

Sorry about missing the proverbial boat, Blueneleh. I'm sure time slows down when you're waiting for the next cycle, too.

Snow_ball, I have heard many people talk about not wanting to do a number two in the work toilets, but never anyone talking about not wanting to do an OPK in the work toilet :rotfl:

Ladies, you are absolutely hilarious in the face of adversity. High fives to you all :T

I'm physically unable to do a number 2 at work! Despite bring a small company, there's always someone else in the loo, I like my privacy too much!

Of course if needs must I may need to reconsider my position!

Best tip I ever learned - put some loo roll in the bowl first.. nobody will ever know...

MRN - I get it, I felt the same this month, like I'm a crushing disappointment and my body failed my husband! We'll get there when we are meant to, I'm coming to the conclusion that my body just isn't ready right now!

In the mean time, due to reasons various; I'm not going to be thinking about TTC much, I've decided to just see if nature can take its course. In order to assist the relaxation etc, I've taken two weeks leave from work. I need to get my head in the right place I think - work !!!!es me off, buying houses !!!!es me off, studying !!!!es me off... And pretty much everything else !!!!es me off too! So - I'm going to finish this essay and then spend the week after doing nothing but going to the spa, getting a tan, running, spending some time sorting out my diet again, and do some dejunking; I'm reading that Mari Kondo thing at the mo!

So - I probably won't post much in the meantime but I'll keep checking in to see how it's going with you girls. Good luck to you all!

P.s. - Amy; congratulations! Really pleased for you!
