Arrrgghhhh! Think we've missed another cycle. I got a random positive opk on CD10 (I'm currently CD12) and OH currently has a cold (read man flu!) and so too ill to dtd on that day or yesterday.
I'm hoping it was just a freak positive as I never OV that early so am still doing OPK's but we might have missed our chance again. Grrrrr.0 -
Okay ladies, the weekend is nearly here, and I'm still not seeing anywhere near my prediction for Kellykins' number of BFPs this month. We need some positive news here. Could we all have a quick pep talk with our ovaries and ask them what they're playing at?
Talking to hubby last night, we realised that (Assuming our solicitor is correct about dates) even if our next cycle is successful, thanks to the 2WW, I won't be able to do a test until we're in our new house. Because of that, I will be packing away my test kits todayPlus, the new house is a complete renovation project, which means I could be doing the POAS thing in a grim 1960s avocado bathroom suite. Not quite the fairy tale BFP scenario, but has prompted me to start contacting bathroom fitters to see how soon they can come in :rotfl:
Ha ha Cuilean. I read that as your solicitor has been advising you about your cycle
Good luck on your move0 -
Well went for the ultrasound and the lady said everything looked normal to her so that's good news! She told me off for being a bit overweight but I've already joined Slimming World and lost just over a stone so I'm going to carry on with that, but it gave me a bit of a kick up the bum, so went for a 5 mile walk with a friend last night!0

So sorry to hear your news Skaps *hugs*
It's lovely to hear from you Kellykins. Your journey has been epic so far, you so deserve your BFP so my fingers are firmly crossed that you are able to tell us a glowing success story of your clomid travels
Glad to hear your scan went well AmyTurtle and well done on the walk, good luck with Slimming World0 -

PMSL, Blueneleh - he probably wouldn't be surprised if I did, I feel like I've consulted him about everything else in the last few weeks. Hopefully your OPK just had a freak day and you'll be good to go "on schedule".
Well done on the weight loss and the great result from your scan, Amy. Sounds like things are looking good for you :T Maybe you'll be one of the March BFPs? We really need a "fingers crossed for you" smiley face thing.© Cuilean 2005. Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental.0 -
Blueneleh - I posted this a long while back and might be what you are seeing. I would keep testing.
I did read in one of my apps (yes, I have more than one!), that you get a surge of LH about a week after AF, which then goes down, and then you get a bigger surge just before OV. This totally made sense to me the first month I used a digital OPK. I still got darkish bands on the IC about CD 7-11 which then went, but were never as dark as the control line. The digi said no surge at this time. Then about a week later (I now know I OV around CD 16, much later than I thought) I got the smiley face on the digi and a dark line on the IC. I would persevere and keep testing until you know for sure you are way past your OV timing. You never know, you might get another surge later than you think.0 -
Afternoon ladies, hope everyone is ok
As predicted no BD last night, my jaw was agony once the anaesthetic wore off, and my delightful  toddler whacked me in the face while I was taking her upstairs for bedtime. OW! Still very sore tonight, but will try to DTD as temps still inconclusive despite positive OPK on Wednesday. I don't think I sleep deeply enough for my temp to settle any more, I had no issues getting reliable temps when we were TTC#1, but this time round there's no discernable pattern, despite CM and OPKs suggesting that I'm ovulating.
Hugs to all that need them, happy weekend BDing to those that are awaiting OV. Hope everyone has nice plans for the weekend? We're meeting up with friends for lunch tomorrow, and off to a birthday party on SundayLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Thanks everyone! Apparently fat cells release oestrogen which can disrupt your cycle and could be responsible for my irregular cycles. I struggle to keep weight off for 3 reasons, I'm very short, I was born with issues with my hips/knees/feet which makes most exercise quite difficult & painful and most important, I LOVE food! Not an ideal combo
Blueneleh, I've missed a couple of chances on cycles where my OH has been away for work when I've ov'd, it's so frustrating!
Good luck in your new home Cuilean!0 -

Thanks for this devil dolly. Hopefully we've not missed the boat yet then. OH is still complaining of feeling ill today but might just have to insist on dtd tonight0 -
