    Hi Ladies,

So sorry Skaps. look after yourself.

Its been a while since I posted (apart from the lists obviously)

I am now on Cycle 23 of TTC, completed fertility investigations (which took 6 months in total!) and now i get to start Clomid next month, which i have mixed feelings about. Kind of excited but also so scared as the NHS only provide 6 cycles - We haven't discussed what happens if i am not pregnant within the 6 cycles. I have not ovulated yet this cycle so i guess we have 1 last try before i start the medication.
My best friend is pregnant at the minute which is really really difficult. Im trying my hardest to be supportive.

    hope everyone else is well.
Im sorry i dont post often - but you ladies really do make me giggle sometimes! thank you xxxxx

It's good to hear from our list-fairy! :)

I'm sorry to hear that you're still here TTC! I do expect a post from you to say "can someone do the lists now, it's finally my turn to graduate!" I don't have any experience with Clomid but I hope it works for you in the 6 cycles x x x

    Afternoon ladies :)
Positive OPK yesterday, so I think I called OV a bit too early! Will see if I get a temp rise in the morning to confirm. That means we need to DTD tonight though, and I've been for root canal at the dentists this afternoon. Never felt less like BDing :o

So sorry to hear your news Skaps, big hugs and be kind to yourself.

Good luck with the clomid Kellykins, fingers crossed for you x

Oh Skaps, what awful news, I'm so so sorry :(

Kellykins - best of luck with the Clomid - I hope it works and you're posting a BFP sooner rather than later.

Feeling down this evening. We were due to see a house which got cancelled as it's now gone to closing. It was our favourite and I could really imagine us living there so I'm gutted :(

I'm also learning to drive and my husband tried to let me practise some manoeuvres in our street (he can't take me out properly as he only passed a few months ago) and I really struggled to work his car (it's a petrol and I'm learning in a diesel) and basically stormed out the car in tears. We've agreed he's not the best person to teach me but now I'm worried I'll never be able to work our car :( and we had a bit of an argument about it too.

The above sounds really trivial compared to other people's problems too, think I'm going to get on some housing websites and cheer myself up by finding some new ones!

Bluegreen, how did I not recognise another Glaswegian? I stayed in Glasgow until about 10 years ago, when I crossed the border to marry the husbeast. My best friend stays in Bishopbriggs. I miss Glasgow loads!

Going to closing sucks. I stayed well clear of anything which didn't have a fixed price because I knew I'd be awful with the heartache of losing it. You've had a crummy day, which will not have helped your concentration with the car, so don't beat yourself up over that, especially if the car is really different to the driving school one. Is there anyone else you can practise driving with? My dad tried to teach me and my sister. He and I were too similar and just fought the whole time. He tried to teach my sister, but after he told her to drive through a red traffic light and was caught by the police (Who were behind him!) she swore she was never getting in a car with him again :rotfl:

Get yourself back on GSPC and have a look at what's out there. My pal's parents are selling their mansion in Bearsden. Six bedrooms, a private cinema room, and a pool. I'll put in a word for you ;)

For the ladies with PCOS - there's been some research which shows d-chiro-inositol is very helpful in improving fertility in women with PCOS. Its difficult to source in the UK and is ridiculously expensive, but you can get inositol easily and some of the long termers had success with it a couple of years back.

Aww I didn't know you were from Glasgow! We live just west of Partick just now but looking slightly farther afield to get a proper house - either South side, Rutherglen, Cambuslang, that kind of area. Saying that the house in Bearsden sounds perfect - we can all dream huh? ;)

To be honest I think I'm better with the driving instructor, I'd probably fight with any of my relatives who were taking me out :rotfl: your dad sounds hilarious, telling a learner to go through a red light!

Okay ladies, the weekend is nearly here, and I'm still not seeing anywhere near my prediction for Kellykins' number of BFPs this month. We need some positive news here. Could we all have a quick pep talk with our ovaries and ask them what they're playing at? ;)

Talking to hubby last night, we realised that (Assuming our solicitor is correct about dates) even if our next cycle is successful, thanks to the 2WW, I won't be able to do a test until we're in our new house. Because of that, I will be packing away my test kits today :( Plus, the new house is a complete renovation project, which means I could be doing the POAS thing in a grim 1960s avocado bathroom suite. Not quite the fairy tale BFP scenario, but has prompted me to start contacting bathroom fitters to see how soon they can come in :rotfl:
