*sob* did the Dr just tell you to wait?
Yes, although I think the depo has a vastly stronger 'grip' per se on your body, as in it lingers A LOT longer. Dr said to wait a year and if it still had not come back, then there was medications etc that could re-jig things.
I'd recommend taking some agnus castus (you can get it online or Holland & Barratt). I took it for probably about two weeks, then stopped taking it when I suspected ov (even though I hadn't had AF, I wanted to be cautious), then a week later AF arrived for the first time in six years. It could be a coincidence of course, but a lot of women swear by it to straighten AF out.0 -
Congrats Marmite!
Now 11DPO... when can you do a HPT? I did one today CD35, wasn't with FMU but was a BFN. Cycles are all over the place, so I won't totally declare myself out, but I don't have good feelings about it. When I got pg last time I didn't do all the OPK's etc, but I did a HPT on CD30 and it was negative and only 10 days later did the BFP show up.
Feel very rubbish and want to eat nothing but cake!0 -
Congratulations Marmite. Great news0

I think everyone's different. Some test early, others around time AF is due and some (like me) don't test until you get a late AF. I personally hate the disappointment of hoping and hoping hpt's are wrong when I get a BFN and then AF comes along, but that's just me.
You definitely are not out as 11dpo is still quite early and if you didn't get a BFP until later on last time there's a good chance that would happen again. Fingers crossed for you0 -
Evening all.:hello:
Huge congratulations Marmite27! I'm so pleased for you.
CD5 today, feeling upbeat and ready for another month of BDing. It's nice that the first weekend will be just for fun and the second for serious action.
Did you all have good weekends? I had a weekend away staying with family and I forgot to pack my folic acid - naughty, naughty. I did eat plenty of fruit and vegetables though. Which got me researching the matter of foods to boost fertility. Much like everything it's just the usual varied but healthy diet. Still, I could do more to improve my eating habits... couldn't we all?!
Oh and my latest TTC fad... meditation. Yeah... yeah go on and laugh. :rotfl: The ap was free so very MSE and it can't hurt/hinder the process :huh:MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
Hello all! CD12 today. BD'd yesterday and Friday. That's only three times this cycle so far (CD6, 9 and 11), but we've planned in a few sessions this week, which is my fertile week according to my app. Trying to stick to every second day but wondering if it should be more than that during the fertile week?
I didn't give proper details at the start of the thread either, here they are: Bluegreen143 (26) TTC#1 since 02/15

Looks like we're in similar positions Bluegreen - I'm currently on CD15 in first month TTC. I *think* I may be ovulating round about now (like, right now!) as getting some twinges on left hand side. Got the ferning pattern back on my saliva ovulation test today as well and CM has been turning from watery to EWCM today I think. We BD'd Fri, Sat & yesterday and hoping to convince OH to do so again tonight to maximise potential chances. This first month (whilst we're fresh and it's not a chore!) I've decided we should BD everyday during the (supposed) fertile period, but I may reconsider this if we're still going in a few months as I can see already that it would be difficult to carry on at that rate (I have no idea how some people do it everyday as a matter of course, not just when TTC!)
Not looking forward to the infamous 2WW though, especially as I haven't had a 'normal' period since stopping the pill so I have no idea when it will actually be due. My body seems to be cooperating with the predictions on my app so far though, so potentially around Feb 24th will be when I'll be reaching for the tests!0 -
Hi all!
Great to see some new people on this board.
I've been off for a bit as my hard drive needed to be replaced on the computer, so I've been setting things up again since I got the computer back.
I'm on CD27 and desperately want AF to show herself soon because then I'll officially be on CD1 of the cycle we start to TTC! Oh, and to make matters worse, my dog is in season for the first time at the moment - talk about timing!!!0 -

Yep, you're just a couple of days ahead of me! Fingers crossed for both of us. My AF is apparently due 26th Feb. This is my second month pill-free (first we used condoms as wanted to see if my system would go back to normal) and I was delighted everything seemed to happen when it should last month i.e. I went back to normal straight away.
Getting a wee ache on one side so I may ovulate in the next couple of days (last month I had slight pains and cramps for two days before I think I ovulated).
Agreed we might reassess our method after a month or two - I already think if it doesn't happen in the first two months, I'll start using opks and preseed. I just know I'll get obsessedPart time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018
