It's ok aileth, BD as soon as you see OH, the egg is still fertalisable for a few days after you've ovulated :-)

12 hours does seem like a really short ovulation though.

Aileth, try not to stress (easier said, I know!) - it could well be a small hormone surge rather than definite ovulation. Just pounce on your OH as soon as you can ;-)

Aileth, the OPKs are measuring the surge in luteinising hormone which is what makes you ovulate - so the surge comes before the egg is released. The fact your opk is showing low hormone probably means the egg has now been released from your ovary, and it will survive for 12-24 hours - so it doesn't mean you've missed it.

Hormones in our house are running super high atm, OH was at breaking point last night likely due to an excess of testosterone - he's out tonight though.

I've got a job interview tomorrow, I'm seriously nervous, and seriously excited, I think it would be my perfect job - wish me luck everyone!

Morning!

I really should be getting ready for work but I just wanted to say hello. My week is improving, y exams are going ok at work which is helping, and things are progressing nicely with the house, and this morning I got the first flashing smiley face on the dual hormone OPK Clearblue thingy, which is good, and could mean a Valentine's ovulation lol! Luckily I see husband tonight so he's getting stacks of BD this weekend :-) this could be the best Valentine's day ever.

On that note, off to work I go, last day of assessments, fingers crossed I get assesses higher than I am at the moment, I think I need the confidence shot. Also, bizarrely, got my OU assignment scores last night for the one that I didn't work hard on and just submitted half done out of annoyance, suspect tutor mistyped my score as I got 79% lol! Happy days!

Afm, I'm feeling pretty down today. I was diagnosed with PCOS on Monday, which explains why I've only ovulated twice in the last four months. I know it doesn't make it impossible, but it feels much more difficult. I find it very hard to accept that this is one thing I have no control over, especially when both Mum and MIL are v v keen for grandkids and have no problem reminding me of it regularly!

Anyway, my stats for the list:

Black Ribboner (28) TTC#1 since 11/14. Currently CD35 (7DPO)

Black Ribboner, don't lose hope. I was diagnosed with PCOS in July 2013, I was pregnant with my son on the first month of trying and this time is month 3. Obviously lots of people with PCOS find it much harder than this but there is a scale so there is absolutely totally and utterly hope :-) I found OPK's helpful this time, when I do ovulate it seems its much later than I would have thought otherwise.

So my HPT today is definitely darker than yesterday. I have a digi but I'm too nervous to do it! The bottom one is todays.. do I declare a BFP? Almost too scared to! I'm 14DPO. Last time my lines were dark straight away, but I think I was nearer to about 20DPO!
