  • Advice time Ladies. OH is going to be getting home late tonight, probably after I've gone to sleep... what's a romantic way to send a message saying 'wake me up for DTD when you get back, it's my fertile week and we've not BD in two days...'

-.- oh babymaking... you are SO ROMANTIC

Have to agree, I haven't felt so unromantic. Instead of our bin having used sexy massage oils etc in it, it now has loads of OV sticks I've p*ssed on!!!!

Congratulations Sunshine - that is so exciting!

I am 3 or 4 DPO now and willing the next 10 days to hurry up! Coincidentally I have a nurses appointment on the 24th (the day I in theory should get AF/ 15DPO so I'm half thinking I should wait until then and ask the nurse to do a test, or at least get the nurse to do another test to confirm one way or the other.

Does anyone have any experience with the Poundland HPTs? I bought a box of two last summer when I was randomly feeling nauseous for a couple of weeks but still on the pill (negative - which was good as it was 2 months before my wedding!) but wondering how sensitive/reliable they are as I have one left in the box?

Had some great news today - my blood glucose control is now the best it has ever been in the 10.5 years since I was diagnosed with diabetes. Makes me feel a bit stupid for not putting more effort in in the past for my own health's sake really. Shows what you can do when you have a serious incentive!

Dotty - :rotfl: you'll have to tell us what you write, and whether he follows instructions!
  • Evening ladies :) and welcome to all our new members.

Congratulations Sunshine. That's a massive BFP for internet cheapies! I would definitely do a digi :j

Congratulations JoBatch on the exam results....and Fx for your busy Valentines weekend!

I'm CD16 today and usually get a positive OPK today, but this month nothing so far :( I best keep POAS!

Hahaha mine too! !!!!y sticks..... What's worse is that my home from home at work has a cleaner coming in twice a week, so I probably should make more of an effort to hide such things! So unglamorous. A box of OPK's next to the Chanel perfume....

I think mine would be something along the lines of 'hurry home dearest, I'm not wearing any knickers'. He's going to want to verify this when he gets home and will probably wake you anyway!

On that note, off to go pick up my own dearest husband from the train station - let the weekend commence!

  • BD'd tonight! Definitely in two week wait now but not sure how many dpo I am - my app says 0dpo but I think I'm 1 due to the timing of my symptoms. Reckon my period's due a day or two earlier than the app thinks.

Fingers crossed the next two weeks go quick - luckily we have Valentine's day and lots of nice stuff on with friends, then a three day week next week as its my husband's birthday :-)
