  • Congratulations to all those getting good news!!!

I am on CD6. Fingers crossed, but it is only the first time we have tried, so if it doesn't work this month, just keep on going. Although I haven't posted much, still reading the thread often and love keeping up to date with everyones progress

Can I say as an old time contributor and current lurker, there's not nearly enough HPT !!!!!! on here. When you get your BFP, it's only polite to post a pic! It didn't happen until I can see those two lines :D

Ergh, so confused now. I did another clearblue digital opk this morning for no reason really, and it showed ov for the second time this month. I'm thinking that the particular machine is busted, so I have no idea whether I have ov or not.
  • Hey, my post has vanished?!

I posted to say welcome to all the newbies and congratulations to those with BFPs, and sorry to those whose AF has reared her ugly head. also to say that I left the thread a few months back as OH and I were getting really stressed out with it all and OH especially was really feeling the pressure. We thought we would give the NTNP approach a go, not testing for ov etc.

Seems that method works for us! :) AF was due on Friday, no sign of it so I tested this morning and got a clear BFP on the Superdrug early test! Neither OH or I quite believe it so we are off to get a digital test just to be sure.

Aileth when did the opk last show your ov?

Last time it showed ov was last Wednesday.

Cath huge fingers crossed but sounds VERY promising!
  • I think Ive read somewhere that you can get a positive opk but then not ovulate til much later? I'd just keep BDing if you can, just to be sure!

Tried the digital test and it didn't work! Just got a blank screen :( I bought 2 so will have to try again later.

I think the digital tests are a lot less sensitive than the superdrug ones, so it might be worth waiting a bit extra for the hormones to increase.

I just did another opk and it's now come up as high fertility. I used a different digital tester this time. Possible late ov then? Who knows at this point.

Hello!! Hoping to join you ladies please.

I'm Maire, 31, hoping to conceive number 2 soon.

I have a 1 year old DD and used the TTC thread a lot over the three years it took to have her. (Had 2 MCs during that time)

I've had no AF since I had my daughter but hoping to sort that out soon I've had blood tests.

To the lady with a second round of positive OPKs... Tgose tests pick up HCG so can show up positive if you are preggo. That's what happened to me. No real positive, so I tested for a few weeks. After a few days in a row on positives, someone on here suggested HPT... BFP!!

Anyway, I'll be mainly lurking til the return of the witch but sticky dust everyone!! X

Aileth - are you using the dual hormone digital Clearblue opk? I got my 4 day of high fertility this morning but haven't had peak yet - maybe I late OV aswell? Not really sure to honest except keep BD until husband goes to work tomorrow evening and hope that OV happens soon and there are surviving swimmers to do something. Stupid sodding work and stupid sodding body. Just what I don't need on top of what was a horrendous week at work.

I'm so confused. I have my day 21 blood tests on Tuesday, so will probably see the doc on Friday about it all. Oh well. Let's hope ovulation happens soon.

I think so? It's the stick one with circle, flashing smiley, solid smiley when ov.

I was low fertility (circle) up until last Wednesday. I had a solid smiley in the morning, but a circle in the afternoon. I had no high days before this. Then I left it, thinking I had OV as I definitely had OV pains the night before, and the circle was because the LH surge had been that night and it'd been a quick one.

I decided to do it again this morning, no real reason, part of me enjoys tracking it like that. First pee of the day showed OV, and then I did one about 2 hours later and it showed high. I used two separate digital testers as ofc when it registers peak it sticks on for two days.

I'm starting to cramp a lot now, doesn't really feel like OV pains, more AF pains. Come on body, what are you doing?!
