JoBatch, last month I had 10 days of flashing smilies!! I'm starting to consider binning the technology and going old fashioned!

Owch dotty, hope you mend soon!

With the CB dual hormone OPKs they will flash when they detect upcoming OV & continue to do so until they detect your peak days. If for any reason it doesn't detect peak days it'll just carry on flashing thinking you haven't got there yet! So you could have ovulated & the CB test has missed it - it'll never show a blank circle once it's started flashing. Annoying huh!

Ha, yes - very! I wondered if it might have been possible I was going to miss it irrespectively. Hmm, I'll keep testing, and see what happens I guess!

    When in doubt, BD :T

I'm cramping sooo bad at the moment. Having to lie down because of it. It's a week early for AF, but guess she's coming early. Really watery cm though, but I guess I'm still out of whack.

Cramping well before AF and watery cm can both be early pg signs so fingers crossed for you :)
  • I've never used OPKs - always just guessed. Will be using the Clearblue dual digital this month, just to see how it goes.

With DD1, it took us 2 months, DD2 2 months and DD3 was the one they warn you about in biology at school - all it takes is one time...

Don't lose heart ladies, if it's meant to be, it's meant to be.

    Good luck ladies!
  • Gosh, opks sound a nightmare! Was wondering about trying them, but not sure if it's worth the outlay :undecided

Am currently going mad in the 2WW. AF due Thursday and I keep symptom spotting - is this one pg? Is this one AF? The first month we tried I was convinced it had worked and was devastated when AF came 2 days early, so am determined not to get my hopes up this time - but that seems to result in over obsessive monitoring/thinking! Going off to take a long bath and a chill pill . . . :o

    Hi all

I hope you don't mind a newbie joining......

A little info - I am 31 OH is 32, were NTNP for a few months last year and then actively started trying from October 2014 and have been using ovulation kits since.

All around us friends are falling pregnant at the drop of a hat, so already getting a little frustrated, even though I know it is still early days, but was truly devastated last week when AF arrived.

Have already developed a terrible symptom spotting habit from as soon as I've stopped ovulating!!!!!

Hi to the newbies :) Hope your stay here is very short!

Aileth I've got my fingers and toes crossed for a BFP!

Dotty that sounds so painful!!! I hope it is worth it and you are well and truly upduffed! Try to take it easy, and I hope it heals soon.

Sorry to hear those that are being messed around by OPKs. I still don't use them as they make OH feel uncomfortable. Fingers crossed for you that you're not out this month :)

    Any news Cath_Ster?

AFM I managed two days in a row of BD! CD14 and I'm not sure where I am OV-wise. If I DTD tomorrow and/or Wednesday I'll be happy for the month.
