Hi everyone, sorry I've not been here. Hi to all the newbies, hope you're not here long! (In the nicest possible way of course!)

I'm now CD11 next time the lists are updated please? I *might* have been a bit convinced I was pg last month but I was obviously mistaken!

    Hey ho, onwards and upwards...

Positive opk this morning! I had twinges last night but dismissed it and said no to bd as I'm congested, I can't believe it. Tried to BD this morning but no time. Will it still be around when we get home from work?! Last times we BD was five days ago so I bet his swimmers are gone :((((
  • Yay! AF is here!!!

I'm now on CD1, so officially in our first TTC cycle.

Hope everyone has a great day.

    Good luck, Michbright!

I'm worrying so much now. I hope I haven't mucked up this month's cycle by being frigid one night!
  • congrats Marmite!!

Hi Aileth, I get positives on opks for 2 days in a row so as long as you dtd tonight or tomorrow morning you are still in with a chance :)

Went for smear and internal examination yesterday, Dr says all looks OK and first set of blood tests were clear so pretty happy with that - also OH saw the Dr about the lump on his tackle and it's a harmless cyst. Just waiting for the appt for the ultrasound now and my day 21 blood tests to check I'm ovulating (I'm pretty sure I am). Feeling more positive now!! x

    Fantastic news, AmyTurtle!

Thank you for putting my mind at ease :o
  • Hi all

I'm a long term lurker on MSE, but have taken the registration plunge to join this thread. We've been TTC for three months now and I need people to talk to - friends either fell the first month or don't want kids yet, and there's only so much reproductive talk my husband can take!

Wishing you all a happy Wednesday :-)
  • welcome black ribboner! (Is that a terry pratchett reference?) I hope your stay with us is super short

Hormones in our house are running super high atm, OH was at breaking point last night likely due to an excess of testosterone - he's out tonight though.

I've got a job interview tomorrow, I'm seriously nervous, and seriously excited, I think it would be my perfect job - wish me luck everyone!

Great news and glad you're feeling positive!

My Glow app reckons today's my most fertile day, but my husband's working overnight and so we can't BD. We did last night though, on CD13 (and on CD11 before that) and we plan to tomorrow as a good luck measure. Not feeling that positive, every two days sounded like loads but now I worry we've not done it enough.

On the other hand, the app is just guessing and going by symptoms I think I probably ovulated yesterday, so my cycle may be 26-27 days instead of 28...

Omg... I just did an opk again and it's come up low... that's it, i've missed it this month haven't I? That means my ovulation lasted less than 12 hours....
