AF for me is usually 6-7 days.

Really? It used to be only three for me :(. No sign of stopping or slowing yet.

Yeah it always used to be Sat-Tues, then gradually kept adding on a day. I should be off around Sat/Sun.

Weirdly AF has gotten so much shorter for me. Pre-pill it was 7-10 days (and I hated it), on the pill it was monday evening to friday evening (so about 4 days, and yes, that freakishly regular) now, I seem to be on about 3 days. Fickle witch that she is she just doesn't seem to make up her mind...

I hope when mine finally come back that my AF is muxh shorter than pre-pill. And lighter. And pain free...I cna wish right?

Right now I'd just like mine to arrive so my boobs stop hurting. They've gone massive and have hurt for a week. Waaaa!

Chocolate and hot water bottles for all those AF-ing!

I was on the depo six years. So far AF is very light, although I never used to have it particularly heavy. Some days I've just needed a liner! As for pain I used to have modest, some times id have to lay on my front with a water bottle on my stomach dosed up on feminax. This time I didn't even know it had started till I went to the loo. I've had very very mild twinges but that's it. Ofc as I said above it's actually lasted double the time it used to! So, so far it's very very different! Of course chances are pill will affect your first proper AF different to depo.

    Hi all

Just checking in to let kellykins know that we have decided not to TTC #2 - we are now considering adoption.

Anyway - if anyone would like to buy my (old style) CBFM and 41 test sticks, I have listed it on Ebay!: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CLEARBLUE-DIGITAL-FERTILITY-MONITOR-plus-41-TEST-STICKS-/121560888694? (hope it's ok to post this link?)

Good luck to all - I'm off to find an adoption thread :/

    xx

Good luck! Hope theprocess is smooth for you XXX

  • First BD of the cycle today! (My husband is convinced we did it on Friday too but I have no memory of this?! :rotfl:)

Hope to go with every two days if we can as I've heard it's the best bet. I'm not using opks or anything but last month but I felt ovulation pains and got ewcm too (TMI sorry!) so hopefully I get some symptoms again this month So I know everything's going OK.

  • Hi all, mind if I join in? OH and I have been officially TTC since October, although I've been off the pill for 2 years we were using other contraception or withdrawal method until then. I really hoped I was pregnant this month, got to day 44 with no AF but kept getting negative pregnancy tests! Then started period on day 45 :(
Due to some issues I've had with dodgy/irregular length cycles, bleeding and pain after sex etc I have just started having some tests for possible fertility issues (blood tests, smear, internal exam and am waiting for an appt to come through for an ultrasound), however I'm staying positive as it's still early days! My best friend took a year to conceive her LO while my brother and sister in law have conceived both their babies the first month of trying, lucky so and so's!!
