Hope to go with every two days if we can as I've heard it's the best bet. I'm not using opks or anything but last month but I felt ovulation pains and got ewcm too (TMI sorry!) so hopefully I get some symptoms again this month So I know everything's going OK.
Same here Bluegreen!! And I also had those ov symptoms last month so hoping not to need the opks I've bought. Exciting!!0 -
Morning!
Just briefly wanted to post before I drag my sorry !!! out for a run - about the length of cycle mostly! I used to be on the copper coil and it used to last between 7-9 days and was incredibly heavy! However, since having it removed a year ago AF has got steadily shorter - this time to 3 days. I thought that maybe that was too short so I'm very glad to hear some of you others having 3-4 days also - that's reassuring!
Having a look at Ovia, it looks as though ovulation could actually be valentines weekend which is a double edged sword lol! I'm OPKing every day this month so that when I go for the next blood test Ive got something to report to the doc. Luckily, ovulation should fall on a weekend which is good because otherwise I'd be doing a 200mile round trip just to BD in the week, however, Valentine's weekend we are spending with sister and brother in law at his parents house, so if I do ovulate there's going to have to be some BD.... I've got visions of this happening or the car or something!!!
Oh well, forewarned is forearmed. Right, butt out the door and run. Laters folks, have a wonderful day.#KiamaHouse0 -
AmyTurtle - welcome, I've only been on here a few weeks but learning lots!
JoBatch80 - sorry, made me giggle! Hope you find a private moment over Valentine's to BD...maybe you could lure the family out and accidentally lock them house for a bit :rotfl:
Kellykins - could I guess 5 BFPs for Feb please? Thinking positive thoughts!
Bluegreen143 - maybe you're BDing in your sleep :eek::rotfl:
Have lovely days all0 -
Welcome AmyTurtle! If you want adding to the list on the first page let me know
Sorry to hear about AF playing games with you. Hopefully you're on the next thread in no time!
Jo I hope you can find somewhere a bit more romantic! I agree with hbex about locking the family out!
Bluegreen I had the same issue with my OH! Although he will wake up in the middle of the night for it then go back to sleep and have no recollection of anything that happened! It doesn't happen very often but it's like he has that sexsomnia thing! (although why he wont BD in the day is beyond me, maybe it's all the sleep sex he has! :rotfl:)
AF well and truly floored me yesterday and this morning. Does anybody else get a really horrible pain (almost like back pain) where they can't walk comfortably? God, that makes me sound like a nut case. It doesn't happen all the time for me, but last night I needed a wee and I was walking like I worked for the Ministry of Silly Walks! The pain went away once I had a wee! :rotfl:

Can I be updated to CD7 please? Day 7 of AF. I'm all outta whack!0

Aw lulu! I hope the pain is a little better today :-)
Welcome to any newbies :-) I hope your stay is short.
I am freezing cold this morning and didn't get a hot drink on my way into work, because I was late, because OH wanted to BD, which I know 4 days pre-ov I should be happy about, but but there's this really cute little cafe that does delicious hot chocolate and I REALLY WANTED ONE....
Did a swagbucks quiz last night and it asked if I was 'planning on being pg within the next 3 months' and I was all, well yes, but I would have said that 4 months ago and I'm not PG right now AM I SWAGBUCKS?!?! And then I realised I was getting really mad at an online quiz....0 -
I decided to go and get myself my hot chocolate at lunchtime instead... massive mistake... that place was like baby-central, filled with tonnes of really adorable little ones.... ugh.0

Bluegreen143 - maybe you're BDing in your sleep :eek::rotfl:
Hahaha I hope not! You'd think you'd know when you woke up right?!Bluegreen I had the same issue with my OH! Lol that made me laugh! I don't think I have a history of sleep sex! I think my husband is just in denial that it's been just over a week since the last time as it's quite a long gap for us :rotfl:
You need to use this sexsomnia thing to your advantage in your fertile period, just set your alarm for 3am every second night! :rotfl:

Haha, dotty - anger at swagbucks! I think I'd have said the same thing to it lol!
Hbex - yup - it could be tragically hilarious and end up in a closet or something for a quickie! I forewarned dearest husband about the situation, luckily we are together for a couple of days so we should be able to figure out a way around it. Probably not so romantic, but hey; better get used to that!
As for cute babies everywhere; my friend posted the most adorable pic today of her and the baby. She totally won the baby lottery, it's always well behaved, sleeps through the night and is generally the poster child for contentment. But then a work colleague (who is quite frankly a bit tapped) decided to show me a pic from his wife of their kid in an exploding nappy incident. The start contrast between the two versions of parenthood today has astounded me. It's actually a terrifying proposition when we really get down to it!

Ladies how on earth do you do opks at work? I've got strip ones and have a specimen jar. Spent 5 mins in disabled loo!0
