I don't tend to tell my oh too much (like the details of my cm) but he is usually pretty good at bd'ing when I tell him it's fertile time!! Like Thursday evening I told him we should bd either that evening or Friday morning (as he was going away for the night last night straight from work). I was worried Friday morning at 6am it wouldn't happen as I would still be asleep and he had to get sorted for work, but he didn't let me down!! Still no positive opk yet, I think last month was about cd23 so hopefully will get one this month and we can fit in a bd or two around the right time!

I actually think we bd alot more now than when we first got together (14 years ago) and it's not just in an attempt to get pregnant, I try amd make sure.we bd throughout the month so that we don't Feel like we are bd'ing just to get pregnant. I personally feel that if I nagged oh to bd it would be a turn off for us both, but I guess I am luckily in that oh is usually more than happy to bd without too much asking!!

Lulu, I do think you need to try and have an honest chat with your oh. Are you sure the mc hasn't effected him more than he may have admitted? For me I wasn't ready to go through it all again until about 6 months after, and I don't think my oh was either so we ntnp for that time.

Had anyone has spotting/bleeding around the time of ov? According to my ovia app, I was due to ov on Friday CD15, & today I've had some spotting, just when I wipe & almost brown in colour (sorry tmi :o)

Did a quick Google search, & apparently it can be an indicator that ov is occuring that day. Anyone else had experience of this? I'm thinking now I've prob mis-timed ov & BD!!!!

Unfortunately I'm in same club with a hubby with a low sex drive, and often has problems completing. We've managed to get pregnant once before and DTD on days 12 & 16. Although I'm 99% sure I won't be pregnant this month I'm already negotiating with myself of when I can test if I'm late

I DTD on 12 and 16 the month I caught too!

Managed to BD Friday (CD13) and today (CD15). Going to try and get OH to agree to tomorrow (he gets in at midnight tonight, will that count as tomorrow?!)

AF seems to be lasting a long time. This is CD9, although the first two days were very light, as in only tiny amount appeared when wiping...so it could be CD7. It is now lighter than during 'full flow' but hasn't stopped.

    Hopefully over tomorrow!

This kind of relates to something I was thinking yesterday. This is obviously MSE, and I think I’m fairly good with money these days but we have just bought a £25 phone case for DH because it supposedly reduces radiation which might affect his man bits. I’ve also bought some fertility jewellery because the stones are supposed to improve fertility. I’ve also had a few sessions of (expensive) acupuncture. Then there’s the CBFM, all the sticks, vitamins, special lubricant...

Do you try to be moneysaving about it all, or just spend whatever you want/need to?

Incidentally chickp, I find my CBFM so easy to use but this month I'm giving the cheapies a go because we have spent so much on the other things I mentioned above.

I think you have to spend money on what matters to you! We want a baby so we feel better if we do all we can in this area. Ahem...we did just spend some money in Ann Summers on something which might improve unromantic BDing :o (or at least get it over with quicker :rotfl::o )

I'm never sure how to log BD that happens around midnight!

I have heard that you should count CD1 as the first day of 'proper' flow so those days of barely there spotting may not count? Anyhow people do say it can take a while for things to get back to normal. Your OH is very lucky to have you Ian :)

Unfortunately for DH, I'm the one with the low sex drive in our relationship so for him ttc has been a great improvement! He is interested in timings and things but I'm not sure even I'm interested in my CM..or maybe it's just that there doesn't seem to be much of it?!

Lulu - I just wanted to say that only you truly know your OH and only you know what you can put up with. Although well meaning, you can't compare your relationship to others' on here. Your OH may be nervous of being a father, he may find ttc pressure hard to deal with, he may struggle with low sex drive or me may simply be too tired. At the end of the day it's up to you what is acceptable. Also, you have both been through a lot recently and now may not be the right time for life changing decisions, but it might help to have a break and work out what you both want?

I really feel for you and hope you can work through this together,

    Chickp xx

So I'm on CD25 now - I'm going to take a punt and say I've probably ov'd. Cycles have been 32, 32, 36 days so far. We've managed BD 7 times since CD14 so fingers crossed, and keeping at it just in case!!

Never got a +ve on my home cheapie OPKs though, and CM was not very obvious either. So who knows!!

We've just come back from a weekend away in London and it did us the world of good. On Friday I told him how I was feeling and he actually listened to me and expressed how much he wanted us to have a baby and he can't blame anyone for the lack of effort on his part. He more than made up for it this weekend.

I'll put myself at CD16 1DPO and hope for another BD later!

Lulu, glad you had a lovely weekend away. Glad he's trying more now and fingers crossed his increased enthusiasm lasts a long time, or even better that it doesn't need to because this month is the one!
