  • MancMama - I am sitting on my hands trying not to do a test! I will try wait til Monday when AF should arrive. Luckily I don't have any in the house so would need to go buy one if I wanted to do it. We didn't really try this month as I needed a break from trying, but did BD once at the right time. Not holding out hope, still feeling nauseous though! Thanks for asking, and thanks to everyone who replied :)

I'm on CD11 so started using CBFM monitor on Monday and I've had 3 high readings in a row with lots of EWCM but I know it won't go peak until Saturday or Sunday and by then the EWCM will have disappeared. So confusing!

Going to persuade DH to do it every day from today until Monday. Wish me luck :rotfl:

Welcome newbies, hopefully you won't be hanging around here for long (meant in the nicest possible way of course lol).

Ian as the others have said, it's so nice to meet a guy so involved in this journey. My hubby has no interest whatsoever in my cycle, only thing hes interested in is when we can BD :rotfl:

Pink sorry to hear there's no sign of ov, fx that your cycle settles down soon.

Jonesy & JTR sorry for AF, hope she's not being too much of a dragon

Flutter & Manc, fx for bfp very soon!!

Cyantist I really hope you get some of your positivity back, I've just started this journey a few months ago, & already been on a rollercoaster of emotions.

Toots good luck with BDing

AFM, CD20 5DPO & I'm ss like mad already  Took a while for my period to return after the pill, so this is first proper 2ww, & it's blooming difficult!!!

    Morning All!!

honestly cant keep up with you all...

so currently on CD8, as Ive been on a couple of mini breaks lately it's hard to get back into the swing of taking my temp each morning or even keeping an eye on cm.

Tricky to know where we are! I've tried to do some estimates based on dates but they're very broad due to AF being unusually long but starting very light.
Not only is this the first cycle after a termination, but it's also first proper cycle in three years that hasn't been straight off the pill. So absolutely no idea how long it's going to be.

So I ended up working out a likely window of today until 27th (8 days) during which OV might happen, but next AF due anytime between 4th and 8th of September but really don't have a clue.

Basically our thinking is "If in doubt, BD!" Going for every other day, but will change to daily if CM suggests it is time.

Good luck for this cycle chick p :j

Sorry for AF jonesy, fx for your next cycle

I hope your positivity returns cyantist, its such a draining journey.

    Great news ian, happy trying!

I'd try and hang on flutterby but I'm pretty weak willed. Hope the symptoms are a Good sign.

Hello new ladies, hope your stay is short

Hope you o soon think pink, do you think it may have already happened?

Cd1 here unfortunately. Knew statistically chances were low this month but was at least hoping for a longer luteal phase but it wasn't to be, another 10 day-er. On to cycle 4 :(

I really don't think I have. I'm not sure whether to carry on using opks this cycle or take it that I won't ov this time- i have pcos so have long irregular cycles so I am not expecting that I will ov every cycle, but it's still very frustrating!

CD19 and about 2dpo. I ran out of OPKs before getting a positive, and I think we gave up BDing too soon. Last month I ov'd on CD15 but I don't think I did until CD17 this month. We did it on 15 & 16 so you never know.

Cd32, bfn yesterday :( but my cycle seems to be getting longer. Had to see a doctor yesterday who made the lovely comment that we should stop temping and loss, and just DTD 2-3 times a week. I wish. I am getting rediculous though, thinking its my tests which aren't working and whether to try with an opk, as I've heard they show up a pregnancy as well. Desperate much ?

Just checking in to wish you all good luck, ladies (And Ian) ;)

CD6 here. Not a lot going on, other than the potential murder of my DH and his workaholic tendencies.
