He once said that he never proposed to his ex because deep down he knew that's not what he wanted, but still stayed with her til he had a reason to leave. I know he will one day, it's just waiting for when he decides it's the right time. I Don't care for this 'enjoy your youth' stuff, I've done what I want to do. I've had nice holidays, I've graduated and played the field. I know we're both ready for it. Remember that OH is 31.
Well I guess we just have to disagree then. I think its hugely important to enjoy your youth while you have it, yes your OH is 31 but they have a longer shelf life anyway - his age has no real bearing on this. I dont wish to make presumptions or assumptions about you so I wont bother posting a response again, but I will leave you with a cautionary tale of a 24 year old in your situation who ended up pregnant and dumped and living back with her parents. You may be ready for it but its his home and your posts have long suggested that he is reticent for anything changing in the current status quo.
Apologies if this sounds blunt.#KiamaHouse0 -
I have also seen home male fertility tests sold in Boots. . . Could be a 'well, I'm doing the opks, temps etc. - maybe you could try this before we go to the GP' conversation. I know my husband gets a bit funny about the doctor and would be more relaxed if it's just him and me doing the test at first.
It's funny how the approach to infertility worries seems to divide across the genders - it always seems to be the women worrying and tracking, planning GP visits and thinking of future options, while men seem happy just to NTNP indefinitely! A sweeping generalisation to be sure, but it does frustrate me sometimes how much easier it is for OH to put it all out of his head.
On a side note, I'm loving all the July birthdaysI adore July - our wedding anniversary is this month too - and part of me thinks it would be lovely to give birth then. Then I realise that means waiting till October to conceive. . . So maybe not such a lovely idea!

Congrats JellyBox on your BFP!
I'm now CD17 2DPO so the long 2ww has started. We BD on CD13 and 15 and used pre-seed this month so fingers crossed.0 -
Big congrats to JellyBox! Lets see if we can squeeze one or two more BFPs out in June!
To those who do the lists, I think I was missed when I joined, so please may I be added?

I'm currently on CD28, 11/12DPO and Ovia says AF is due tomorrow. I have no pre menstrual symptoms at all so we'll see when she shows up. I figured it was late enough to POAS this morning but that was a BFN. That was with an internet cheapie, do you think there's any slight chance I tested too early and I still might be pg?Happiness can be found in even the darkest of places, if one only remembers to turn on the light - Albus Dumbledore

When I got my BFP I tested 13 days post ov and got a BFN. It was the day AF was due that I got a tiny positive and then a positive on a digi.0 -
POAS yesterday, just an IC ofc, (AF due yesterday, if cycle is 28days, which it may or may not be as I've had longer cycles before and haven't been off the pill that long) - left to my own devices I probably wouldn't have but hubby got the idea I could be preg in his head, so did it to answer him - a BFN of course.
Toying with the idea of temp tracking, we'll see.On the up

Wow, when you ladies get going! :rotfl:
Really sorry if I miss anyone out, I've read so many posts I can't remember them all.
Sorry highland lass, best of luck for next cycle!
Cuilean, your story made me chuckle, at least you'll never forget that, definitely one for the grand kids!
Fingers crossed milliebob
Wow aileth, must be a difficult to broach subject. I don't know what I'd do and really hate the idea of having to find out as I'm worried about 'blame'
Mancmama I understand, I've only just started ttcing and I already find it hard to be excited for others.
Very happily married on 10th April 2013

CD1 for me please. AF arrived this morning. Third 25/6 day cycle in a row so at least I'm consistent.
Cycle 4 here I come! Thinking of starting temping, can anyone recommend a thermometer?!
Thanks... trying to keep my chin firmly up today XxMancMama4 (35) TTC since Apr 15, MMC Dec 15, Our Rainbow Baby Charlie arrived Dec 16 :heart2:0 -
Evening all,
managed to sneak in another BD late last night despite having a cold, wasn't sure whether to log it for yesterday or today! It was really romantic. The highlight was me saying "don't kiss me, I can't breathe through my nose!" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Black_Ribboner wrote: »

This is a constant source of annoyance for me. I get AF and know I am in for days of disappointment, while DH says "Never mind, we'll keep trying", swans off to work and forgets all about it
On the other hand, while I was stalking DH's phone looking for any more incriminating evidence (definitely not still doing that) I saw that he had been researching male infertility and low sperm count. So he is obviously worried, just not sharing it with me. As I'm the one with endo, I think it's a pretty safe bet it's my problem and I'm going to need my insides scoured out again to get me pregnant
CD 15 and still no sign of a temp dip or rise. I really hope I get some sign of ovulation or I might not cope very well
Mancmama I bought this thermometer and it seems OK, although it's yet to pick up ovulation!
Hope everyone is OK, this ttc journey can be a barrel of laughs :cool:0
