Comiserations for CD1 BR and Skaps

BR did you read that Buzzfeed article that Cuilean recommended? As we all know stress isn't good but it will not affect fertility!

I say that to my friends all of the time. I get baby photos and speeches all of the time and they say conception is easy but it is harder than they will ever imagine.

This journey sucks and it always will

I've had to write another post as I didn't want to make the above post all about me, but we have good news!

2 days late so I nipped to superdrug and got a test....BFP! I can't stop shaking, but OH says we just need to take it easy and do another test in a few days but a line is definitely there! After 8 months of trying we are delighted, but cautious.

It puts me at 4+3 EDD 7th January, so I'm going to move up to the next thread in a few days if you don't mind me hanging about here while it sinks in.

I really hoped there'd be fewer of you on here by this time but I wish everyone the best of luck. I will still do the lists (but you might need to give me a nudge every now and again!)

hugs and chocolate to those who need it. It really annoys me when people say 'when are you getting pregnant' like it's so easy. Oh is still friends with 2 guys from school who met their partners about 2 years before we met and are generally 2 years ahead on life. One of them kept asking the wife of the other when they were going to have a baby because he'd just had one and he only had to look at his wife and she was pregnant. Not knowing that the other couple had been trying for almost a year and he's a flippin GP!

My AF arrived yesterday after a suspected chemical pregnancy. She was 5 days late (I use BBT to track ovulation). I am releived she is finally here so I can move on and get ready for the next cycle. Not sure on when I'll ovulate next though as I hear chemical pregnancies can either make you ovulate super early or super late? I'll keep track of my CM.

I really love the fertility friend chart, I have found it so useful for understanding my body.

Finally huuuge congrats lulu :j I'm so pleased for you! Can you tell us what you did this month as I know you haven't had the easiest time.

Thanks ladies.

BR I'm not going to give you a good answer because I didn't use OPKs or anything. We were convinced we were out so we're planning everything. I even bought preseed and a BBT to use! We DTD on CD12 and CD16. I'm just as shocked.
