Roses, I had a chemical pregnancy (though I prefer to think of it as a very early miscarriage - for two blissful days we were expecting, and the term 'chemical pregnancy' doesn't really express what the loss of that meant to me). I didn't ovulate at all the next cycle, but then went back to "normal", or as normal as I ever get :/

Again, I think it's one of those things that can be different for everyone. Tracking cm sounds sensible, opks might be worth a go too.

Yay Lulu! Very, very pleased for you :T How exciting to get a surprise like that, and on a bank holiday so you have the extra time to be amazed together :D Go forth and pave the way for us all on the next thread, but make sure you stay in touch. Hopefully we'll all meet up there soon. Is it really bad that every time we "lose" someone from this thread, I feel like I'm waving a friend off?

Black Ribboner, I think there should be some sort of withering sentence we can fire at people who tell us to "Calm down and it'll happen". Do they not realise we'd love to be calm and not worry?

Commiserations to Skaps and Roses for your CD1 - onwards and upwards to the next cycle. We're all in this together :)

Hi all. New to posting here, just started ttc and would love some advice please.
Stopped taking the pill on 13.04, positive opk 20.04, and today have had two faint positives on an internet cheapy test this morning (fmu) and a slightly darker positive on a tesco hpt (normal not digital) about 3 hours later.

Does that look promising? It all just seems very quick and I can't quite believe it. Should be around 13dpo..

My app says 5 days PO which I think is accurate from other 'symptoms' so I guess I'm back in the TWW. Desperately trying not to symptom spot.

It looks very promising! Congratulations. Try again tomorrow but I suspect you may be our 2nd May BFP.

Thank you.. am trying to be cautiously optimistic, but... scared to believe it right now. Have about 20 cheapy tests left lol, a tesco hpt, and a tesco digital which i may use up over the next few days.
