Does anyone know if Conceive Plus actually help you get pregnant or just help with lubrication for those that need it without killing sperm? I don't need (sorry for TMI) any help with lubrication, but will try anything if it is generally helpful!!!

Have looked at their website but still unsure!.

Thanks for the link Cuilean - fingers crossed! This TTC business is expensive so every little helps!

Aileth I use the cheapie OPKs until I see a faintish line and then use Clearblue to make sure I know when my peak is. I struggled to see it on the cheapie ones alone, the line was never v dark for me.
    Mort at highest - June 2008 - £171,000 - Daily Int 5.9% = £27.64:eek:
    Offset Mort - Nov 2010 £150,299- Daily Int 3.75% = Nov £15.44
    Mortgage Jan 2012 - £136,000 - Daily Int 3.75% - £3.10

Hi, I've been considering buying some. These lubricants are supposed to help guide the sperm to the egg because of what they're made of.

    Essentially, what Lulu said ^

From the side of my packet:
Conceive Plus is uniquely formulated to meet a specific pH range for optimal conditions for sperm survival and migration. Sperm with Conceive Plus shows significantly improved viability when compared to sperm exposed to other lubricants and compared to sperm in optimum cell culture with no lubricant.

I'll sum their wordy waffle up like this - if you're going to use lube, other lubes are not as sperm friendly as Conceive Plus and might wipe some of the swimmers out before they even get to the starting line ;)

    *de-lurking*

I used preseed the month I conceived, so it's worth a shot :) I can't remember why I chose preseed over conceive plus though, probably random! The applicator part of preseed wasn't my fave, but definitely did the job. And OH had absolutely no idea what was going on in that department for obvious reasons :)

As if Amazon now give you the option to share what you've just purchased - yeah, cos I want the world to know I've just bought Preseed Fertility Friendly Vaginal Lubricant!!

Lulu - I ordered last night too and thought it so strange - who on earth would want to share that ?!?!

Thanks ladies for all your comments - I ordered some - this WILL be our month!!!!

Luckily I am a amazon prime member so it will arrive today as Clearable monitor says I am at peak fertility (CD14) which is earlier than previous months and yesterday was nothing, so skipped high altogether which is annoying as didn't BD last night.

As a comparison hoping I could share the pic to help with questions over colour of lines (alieth?) I used the same sample to do an internet cheapie OPK and it has shown nothing - not even a faint line!

    I am confused!

Damn I should have done a Prime trial! but I still got free delivery and it should arrive Tuesday (AF due tomorrow) so it's not all bad.

Pictures are welcome here. If you have trouble uploading use countdown to pregnancy and post the link :)

I am also a Prime member, and ordered my Conceive Plus from them with next day delivery. However, someone at Amazon stuffed up, and for some reason they sent me a home blood test kit to find out what my blood group is instead

The resulting Live Chat was quite an experience. Have you ever tried explaining to someone who's not TTC quite why it was so important you had that product the next day? I'm also horrifically needle phobic, so receiving a needle kit in the post did not do wonders for my nerves

:rotfl: I love it, what a weird mix-up! I can just imagine a conversation like "I have EWCM and need to DTD by tomorrow at the latest because I don't want AF to arrive but she will!" At least you got it sorted.

I did some research last night about what the next steps are if we get to a year with no bun in the oven, and I told OH about it too. We only get 1 cycle of IVF on the NHS and we have to be trying for three years. I think it brought it home to OH that he needs to be a bit more proactive with this TTC lark.

ETA - for that past two days or so I've had such a bad dry mouth! Today it's really bad! :rotfl: I've already drank a cup of tea, some orange juice, and I'm on my second litre of water and there's no relief! It's driving me mental!
