CD 12 here, think I may be starting the 2ww, my temps dropped yesterday/ this morning but who knows what with getting up for a night feed with a little one. We managed 2 successful attempts out of 3 this week which is a miracle, and hopefully I can talk hubby into it again tomorrow just in case then he can have a rest ☺
Congrats ThePug hope you have a good pregnancy

Hope everyone has had a lovely Easter Sunday! We had a nice family day out.

I must say I have been feeling a bit irritable today, for no apparent reason. Also bunged up, can't go at all, which is odd/annoying. Very sensitive nips, actually quite sore if I press on them and have had some twinges in them. Pretty tired/hungry today but not massively. Thought I may have been more tired considering we walked around all day. I do feel like I have a cold coming on, slight sore throat.

I am 3DPO now and impatient to test, but know I need to wait until 6 days at least. I hate waiting

    Hi all

I thought I would join you lovely ladies. We are ttc baby no. 2! We have been trying since last October so getting on for 6 months this month, however we haven't always been able to properly try each month as I travel quite a bit for work and we have missed OV a few times, grr!

I am currently 1dpo, so officially in the TWW. I am really really going to try and resist the urge to test until at least 10dpo!
We managed to BD day before and day after O so hope that's enough.

Diamond Orchid - I was just reading about you being a bit confused about opk's and felt I needed to tell you how they work :):)

When you get a positive opk, it means you will ovulate sometime within the next 12-36hours so as soon as you see that positive you should get doing the deed!!

So if you got a positive on a Tuesday morning for example, you will most likely ovulate the next day (Wednesday).

So you maybe be less dpo than you think? Hope that helps!

Looking forward to getting to know you all a little better and lots of baby dust to all!
    xx
  • I got 3 days worth of positive opks, thurs, fri, and Saturday, todays opk was negative,

this is our 6th month of trying now, but because of a problem, ive had to try artificial insemination. still with husbands sperm, but hey ho, these things are sent to try us aren't they!

im on cd 16, had sperm on day 13 and 15. positive opks on day 13 14 and 15.

feeling hopeful, but not getting hopes up

  • Thanks T-sil :D That does help. But I think maybe we didn't dtd at the right time this month in that case.

Will have to see how it goes, but I am so impatient :rotfl:

I am so impatient too, I hate this whole thing! lol

DH has no idea....we dtd the other day and the next day I peed on an ovulation stick to check status and he said 'so is that to check if you are pregnant'? LOL!!!!!

Bless their innocence! My hub is the same. He expected me to not have a glass of wine, as I may be pregnant in a week or months in the future :rotfl:

I am 35 (36 in summer) been with partner 4 years, plan is just to just see what happens over the next few months, Iv never been pregnant or tried to get pregnant before and have been on pill 20 years so I am a bit unsure where my fertility level will be, have downloaded a app to help pinpoint fertile days
