Just a quick post as on my phone, but just read your last post black ribboner and have to say BIG HUGS. Don't beat yourself up, you didn't do anything wrong. I am on cycle 4 after my last mmc and it has taken until now for things to settle, so it does take some time.

Hugs to lulu for the AF.....

    And congrats to pug.

Implantation? Possible I suppose, the pink was only one wipe and cramps went after about 30 mins.

It would be pretty typical if this were the month given it would be Christmas edd, given my luck in life recently.

Guess we will find out next week. This is going to be the longest week of my life.

I can do a bit of a longer post now, last two were rushed from phone!

Diamond, I echo others, I'd have no issue in first week of 2WW, I might be a bit hesitant in the second, but really unless you're necking vodka, the odd glass of wine won't hurt.

BR, you're not a failure at all. Huge hugs to you. In the last 24 hours there have been three pregnancy announcements on Facebook. I've hid all their feeds for now. It's difficult though, on one hand you totally understand people being excited of course and announcing it, but on the other part of you feels like they're rubbing it in your face.

Lulu, so sorry about AF, I was so hopeful for you. Handbag and wine sounds like an amazing Easter treat.

Take care and be kind to yourselves ladies.

  • Thanks everyone. My friends know we're having trouble and they're being really lovely, but at the same time they're full of plans and excitement and I don't want to quash that with my tales of woe! So glad I've got this thread as an outlet.:o

Aileth, that sounds really hopeful. Everything crossed!
  • It must be really crap when people around you seem to fall pregnant easily, and you also must feel guilty for not being happier for them and being jealous. Only natural though!

I know how this felt after I had my miscarriage. Babies and pregnant ladies were everywhere, and I felt I'd failed, even though we hadn't actually planned that pregnancy.

It also didn't help that when we went to the hospital with the suspected miscarriage they made us wait in the pediatric unit, with kids about, pregnant women and kids paintings and toys about  I couldn't believe how insensitive they were, and also giving my OH funny looks.
It was a bit later when we found out they thought I was 16... Yeah, like I looked 16 when I was 26 :mad:

My tummy is funny today and I feel very tired. I forced myself to get on with some things around the house but I've been on a go slow all day.

With the OV sticks you get on ebay, as that's what I had, do you only get a positive on them on the day of OV, and the rest of the time it's negative? Sorry if thats a stupid question, I dunno if it would have a reading until you aren't fertile anymore. I am thinking I am one day past OV.

Is there a list above I could be added to as in 2WW? Can't help but symptom spot  I drove myself mad last time :rotfl:

I'm feeling awful today. Peeing like a racehorse, so weak and nauseous I've struggled to get off the sofa. Lots of creamy cm.

If I'm not pg, then I'm getting sick.

Sounds very positive tbh hun. I remember the creamy CM with my two prev pregnancies.
  • Diamond Orchid, what a horrible experience. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I was lucky in that there were no scans or hospitals involved, just a lot of cramping on the loo and feeling sorry for myself on the sofa 😞

I don't use OPKs, so afraid I'm no use on that score!

Aileth, I had loads of creamy cm in the month I conceived, coupled with your other symptoms it sounds really positive :)

    Lulu, enjoy the handbag shopping!

The OPKs I got (Which are the same as the eBay ones) say they just look for the LH surge. Judging by the old style CB OPKs which only looked for LH surge, I think you get two days of LH surge, so you should get two days of positive readings from the IC OPK. Once the LH surge is gone, the OPK will read negative and I assume then ovulation has happened. Why do they not teach you this stuff in school? :rotfl:

Realised this morning that I hadn't unpacked my CB Fertility Monitor from the many boxes labelled "bathroom", and you're supposed to tell it when you hit CD1. Doh! Located it and set it forward to CD5, then left it out in the bathroom. Suddenly remembered the MIL is making an appearance later, and after a near miss with stacks of the Pregnacare TTC tablets on the dining room table last week, decided to bury the Fertility Monitor amongst the cleaning supplies. I bet she saw the Pregnacare tablets though. She's got dangerously sharp eyesight.

Lulu, as a handbag addict, I demand that we see your handbag purchase. One of my prized possessions is a Mulberry handbag which a wealthy ex's mother bought for me. He got everything back but that when we split

Aileth, I hope it's baby belly and not a bug you've got.
