Oh LottieLou, I've got everything crossed for you it turns out ok xx

Sorry to hear about AF snow_ball. I'm in the same position, started spotting today - about 5 days early according to my calcs, but as I didn't ovulate this month it's anyone's guess really. A 32 day cycle is much shorter than my last few, so hopefully it's a good sign

Hbex and chickp, In your shoes I'd carry on TTC, even in the face of building works and weddings! That's me though, I'm a bit obsessional when I start trying for something :D

Hbex, I'd keep trying. I think you'd only regret it if you took a break while building works went on.

Chickp, I'd say the same. Yes, it's gonna be a bother having AF at the wedding, but depending on flow you can probably get away with a big sexy overnight pad to control it long enough until you get some privacy to sort yourself out.

The other thing I suppose is 'consumating' on the night of the marriage while on AF, but if your OH is anything like mine, he'll be so drunk the only way it's going is south (if you catch my drift) and fall asleep snoring ;)

Blackribboner, hope you're okay, 32 days sounds really good re cycle length!

Lottielou, hope everything is okay. I have my fingers and toes crossed for you.

Can I be updated to CD1 please? I'm a day early having not had my usual 'nothing' day in between spotting and AF, wonder what that means?!

    Hi there!

Wondering if I could be added to the list?

I'm Maire, age 31 and on cycle 2 of TTC number 2.

I have an 18 month old daughter and, in the processon TTC her, I had 2 MCs and all in all it took 3 years from beginning TTC to finally having her.

Hoping for a smoother ride this time.

Currently CD 20. I'm not certain, but I think I may be around 2dpo. Not sure I'm in with much chance this month as Dh has been poorly.

    Welcome Maire1, and boooo snowball.

I'm now in the 2WW. DTD last night and having proper ovulation symptoms. We've done all we could this month, I think. It's up to you now, mother nature.

Edit: By the way, do any other ladies have some weird ov symptoms? I feel totally exhausted and like I've got the flu. It happened last month too, and then the 'flu' disappeared about 2-3 DPO.

I'm back, and in my new house! Although maybe not for long. Apparently my Virgin Media box (The one everything plugs into) needs replacing and can't sustain broadband, TV and phone. So we have no phone, no TV but broadband. However, that might all switch around at any time. Such fun! (Insert sarcastic smilie here)

I'm in the 2WW, and I could do one of the early test kits from today, but the bathroom here is so horrible that I can't bring myself to POAS for fear of falling down into the actual loo. The seat doesn't fit the rim properly, and TBH, hovering above the seat (in the way you might do over manky public toilets) is very much the order of the day. Takes enough concentration just to P, let alone POAS or in a beaker :rotfl:

Time to catch up with everyone!

Pinkshoes, I'm so sorry. I know there's nothing anyone can say to make things okay, but you've got everyone's support here, and I hope that gives you some comfort.

Chickp, think of the fun you'll have trying next month ;)

Hbex, we're starting the renovation process too, and as much as I'd love a BFP, I'm wary of how I'd cope if I was pregnant and managing builders. We're starting small with the bathroom being ripped out. I've already told hubby that we'll be going away while that happens - I refuse to be in a house without a working loo :rotfl:

Lulu, is your body still messing you about? Surely it's had its fun by now, and it's time to start playing by the rules a bit.

LottieLou, I'm keeping fingers crossed that your number goes up and things stay where you want them to.

Aileth, I think my wedding night was the same as yours. When everyone had gone, and we could drop the perma-grins from our faces, we just fell into booze induced sleep. How romantic

Welcome to all the newbies, wine and chocolate to all that need it, and high fives to those with good news :)

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I think you're all right, I can't stand the thought of messing up my cycle as I'm desperate to conceive. Also, when you've been together for more than 10 years, 'consummating' the marriage doesn't seem such a big thing!

hbex and cuilean: we're also starting major building work. I'm hoping a 9 month deadline will speed up the process as I don't want a baby to arrive when I'm staying at my mum's

Anyway, can I be updated to CD2 please?

We're planning to DTD every other night this month so at least we'll know we've done all we can :)
