So... I told my mum today we're TTC No 4 and she was soooooo happy for us! I made her promise not to ask any questions, like how things are going, etc. which she did. She was mainly concerned about me and about baby's health once he/she is conceived and then born (DD2 and DD3 weren't very well at 6 months). Once I reassured her I've been to see the GP, she was happy.

I still won't tell MIL as DH doesn't want to tell her.

  • LottieLou, I'm so sorry to hear your news. Sending lots of hugs over the MSE airwaves x

CD5 for me please. Flow still going pretty strong, hoping it stops soon! This will be my first full cycle since starting myo-inositol, so fingers crossed I get proper ovulation at a normal time - I seem to release an egg every other cycle, so am hoping this will be the sticky bean. OH is fully on board with SMEP, so let Operation Fertility begin! :rotfl:

Hope everyone survived that horrible weather last night. I managed to meet the new neighbours at 2am, as we all chased our wheelie bins down the road

After months of not understanding why I got the twinges of green-eyed-monster when one of my friends got a BFP, hubby came home in a sulk yesterday because one of the girls in his office announced she was 4 months pregnant. The kind of BFP story that we'd all sell our grannies for, too - BFP on the first month of trying, all scans looking good, no morning sickness or horrible symptoms.

Lulu and Flower10, I spoke to my friend about the pros and cons of a December baby, and she said it wasn't advisable on a physical level either - apparently when the baby wants a feed at night, the cold weather is not kind to new mothers' bodies, IYSWIM :rotfl:

Rampant Recycler I've been Money Tipped!
So I did a hpt yesterday and posted a photo of it to Glow and it's 50/50 whether people see a line! I took the photo long after the window but it looked exactly the same as it did after 5 mins. Argh.

    eeek! fingers crossed Lulu :D

My OPKs eventually turned up in stores so I didn't get an embarrassing email from a colleague saying they'd opened my package by mistake ;)

CD13 today, we DTD last night despite my horrendous cough/snot etc. Sexxxxy! :rotfl: Starting OPKs tonight as I forgot not to drink after 4 yesterday.

I have been lurking around reading all your news every day but, as I'm a regular poster using a different username for these purposes, I haven't had chance to keep logging out and back in under this username. Please forgive me!

So sorry to read about your news LottieLou, and likewise for Pinkshoes.

Cuilean, congrats on the new house! I have hilarious images in my mind of you and the neighbours out chasing your bins though! Was everyone decently clothed, or were there some embarrassing pyjamas/slippers?! Hope you made a good impression anyway! We too had horrendous weather on Sunday/Monday.

    Lulu show us your photo!

My stats never got updated but I definitely Ov'd on CD18.

We did SMEP this month (but ended up BD'ing 5 days in a row CD14-18 because I jumped the gun and thought my opk had peaked when it hadn't!). Today I'm 14DPO and just got my bfp this morning on a Superdrug test. Going to go out and buy some digi ones later, then tomorrow will be ringing Dr to book appointment as I need to get referred to my diabetes consultant I think.

I am so excited but also very nervous. If everything goes to plan, estimated due date is around 8th December so not quite a Christmas baby!
