Lulu hope you feel refreshed after a good nights sleep. On the up side of OHs injury, at least he did after your fertile window had finished, otherwise that may have put a spanner in the works for DTD!

AFM I've been feeling rubbish for the last couple of days with a virus giving me a runny nose, general aches, a temperature and TMI diarrhoea

BFN for me I consider it a bit unfair of AF to be late in our first month of ttc!

Oh well, hand me the chocolate and wine...although probably not at this time of the morning.

Sorry chickp. I'm due on Saturday and even though I know it won't happen this month, there's still a part of me hoping. Have got a bottle of fizz waiting in the fridge to cheer me up a bit though!

Snow_ball are you planning to POAS or wait until AF is due? Fx for you, but enjoy that fizz if AF arrives.

chickp - aww rubbish. Hope you get your BFP very soon.

AFM, nothing report. CD5. Thought AF had finished but she's still there. Hasn't been too horrible though after the first day which was pretty yucky.

I've set up my CBFM (got the new style one) so will be POAS on Friday. Think I'll do IC OPKs too so I can really understand my cycle. Looking like my ov might be over Easter though, when I'm staying with family. No way I can DTD when staying with the fam - completely kills my libido knowing that they're in the room next door. So probably out this month.

I've been hugely torn - found out that our long awaited building work will likely start in January. It's going to be hugely disruptive (massive loft conversion, plus major work in most of the other rooms) and it's going to require radiators to be taken out and heating not on for a week or so. All in all it's going to be between 12-14 weeks so over the worst of winter. Not ideal if there's a newborn or I'm massively preggo! Had a heart to heart with DH and we've decided to continue TTC as it would really upset me to not be TTC. Need to feel that I'm doing something, even if it's not 100% effort if that makes sense. If it happens that I get upduffed and am due whilst the work is happening, we'll cross that bridge. A tiny bit of me is hoping that I don't get my BFP until June/July cause then I wouldn't have to live through chaos with a baby, but most of me just wants one ASAP.

Like you said, first month of TTC though so don't be too downhearted.
