I have knock up three signatures to sew into a journal tomorrow - which will be counted then - used up loads of bit of patterned paper and loads of brown card that came out of the middle of wrapping paper at Christmas...

They'll be bound in leather and I am planning to sew in a pocket too...

Feels like It's a slow one but it'll hopefully be lush...

I will take some pics - but am trying to crack on with making at the weekend - and will photograph in an evening.

It's great to know that everyone is still beavering away and making dents (if only small in my case) in their stash.

I have made 3 Mickey Mouse bag charms today in readiness for our holiday later in the year. These were all made using things I have had lying around for ages. They've not used a massive amount of stash but I have got rid of some wire, beads, charms, keyrings, bells and ribbon.

I've also made a label for my son's guitar case as he starts lessons on Monday and he had someone's old case which also had their name on it so I've made a sticky label decorated with washi tape and stickers to go over it. He's happy with it and it's used a bit more of stash :)

So I'm declaring 4 more items towards my total :)

I've also upcycled some plastic packaging material from Christmas into die cut snowmen today ready for Christmas (how organised am I?) but won't count these until they are actually used. At least they are taking much less space in my craft room :)

    Happy stash busting :)

Wahoo - the magazines have left the building and I have £20 sitting in my holiday spending money jar :) The even better news is that I can actually now see a small dent in my stash and space where they used to be :)

As for 2015 I am now also counting stash de-stashed by selling or donating then I am also declaring a further 80 items towards my total :)

Happy days and happy crafting :)

Wow, well done on all the stash busting! :T I haven't managed much, just 1 frame done as a wedding gift for our friends getting married next week. I will count that as 1 thing as I only used some paper so it hardly made a dent. I'll try to remember to post a photo tonight. :)

Nice cards PixieDust, I have those papers too! :)

Fab room Kirasia. :) I used to have a lovely big craft room... now it's the baby's room and my stash lives in the hall cupboard! It's pretty cool how much we've squeezed in there though, I'll have to neaten it up and take a photo! :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

    Thank you :)

Here is today's effort, number 45. I may make another "variation on a theme" of this one later

  • Have made another four cards, finished recovering the ottoman and made a lining for my crochet bag so that's 8/50 now. Must sort out how to add photos now. Glad for this challenge as it's making me get myself sorted at last. Had a good sort out of my stuff too, so can find things for a change too.

Pixie, I like to get a couple of similar cards done at a time too. The embossing/debossing is a perfect foil for minimal other detail.

    Well done, clodagh.
