Hello! I'd like to join please!
I had a bit of a manic year as I originally joined the previous thread, but then had a baby and craft went out of the window for months and months! I have started up a little Faceache selling page (making lovely scrapbook style photo frames) a few months ago and have been destashing and making a little money at the same time.
I'm going to have to be a little looser with the rules as I do have to buy some things for my little business, but I want to make sure I only buy what I know I will use! I get too carried away with all the pretty things!
I will aim for 100 items completed. I also need to have a good clear out as there are plenty of things filling up boxes that will never be used but will count that towards my separate decluttering challenge!
ETA: Craftingmad- we're also going to Orlando this year! :j I hope that the money I make from selling things will go towards upgrading our holiday and getting some extra treats when we're away!
Great to have you back and massive congratulation on the new baby
You have the same plan as me - I am hoping to make some money from craft to put towards our spending money and anything I save will also be addedMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -

Oh wow I would love to join!! I quit my day job last March to become full time self employed with the hope I'd have more time to make stuff with my stash but it never happened.. I'm hoping this year I can find time!
Is the number the total de stashed items? If so, I'll go for 100. If it's completed items I'll go for 25
Here's a pic of my spare room. It's a bit more.. Umm, messy right now with the addition of a treadmill and some other bits but all the boxes are filled with art materials and fabricthere's a large double wardrobe in there too which is absolutely STUFFED! Very excited about this!
Oh WOW - I have serious room envy - its amazing and I'm drooling over that lush chest of drawers

Ooh nimbo that sounds good. Have you got any pictures? I have set myself a challenge to get more organised using items I have around the house and my craft stash so need your inspiration to kick start meMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
Sorry for not being on for a while but I have been feeling a bit pants. My cold and cough have come back and whatever I do I just can't seem to shake them off!!! I don't think they were helped by my boiler breaking (again!) on Monday. It's all back and mended now so the house feels toasty warm after being without it for a couple of days.
I have however been busy beavering away. I have completed 12 more Project Life pages (which means 2014 album is almost finished) so am declaring these towards my total.
I am also on a a decluttering and organising misson with my craft room and supplies and have just been through 80 old magazines. Previously I have just cut out pictures of inspiration or tore out pages but I decided this time that instead of ripping out bits I would photograph the bits I liked and then store these on my computer. This is great for me in two ways because:-
1/ The photos on my computer take up no actual room in my craft room (although I may copy them onto a CD in the future so I have a back up copy)
2/ I put the 80 magazines on a local facebook selling page and sold them for £20
I managed to keep the magazines with all the free papers inside them as I know I have enough to last me a lifetime already which obviously made them worth a lot more
The lady is coming Sunday to collect (although I also have another lady in reserve in case the first does not turn up!) so I won't count the mags until they have actually left the building
I am super duper impressed with myself and maybe 2015 is going to be the year I finally actually make a small dent in my stash
It's also the 10th of the month today and I still haven't bought any new craft supplies during 2015 - this is definitely a record for me
It's great to see all your lovely new makes and that this thread is trying to keep us all on the straight and narrow

I haven't created anything today
But I have been sorting through my toppers and card kits and they are now all sorted into catagories on my shelf and sectioned so that when I pull out one kit all the rest don't come too!!!
Oh and I've managed to purge about 100 A4 sheets of toppers ready to sell on. Hopefully will get round to listing them today.
Also came across a Cath Kidston book set with a make your bag set which I don't think I will use so have already put these on local facebook selling page and got two people interested at £20
Really must try and sit down and make a few bits soon as well
Well done Pixie on de-stashing and making some bits. It's on my list that I will turn some of my scrap paper and card into die cuts ready to use but I never seem to get round to it
