Fab makes! :T
I didn't make anything last night; I couldn't find the toppers I wanted so had a strop and went through 3 boxes of papers and card blanks, binning about a third of it since it would never be used so I did do some destashing, just not in the nice crafty way!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Thought you'd made it, Pixie. I have a pair of curtains that might just cover my board a treat - well, a wee bit of one curtain out of 4 HUGE ones. I'll need to have think about that - seems a shame to use just a wee bit.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400

I've been a very good girl today and cancelled a load of email newsletters I subscribe to. Hopefully now I won't keep seeing things which tempt me
I've also not renewed a subscription to the Silhouette digital cutting store which I had for a year. I have never used the cutting files I have already bought so really don't think Im going to miss it - I'm quite looking forward to the extra £20 in our pocket each month
I've also just cancelled a membership to an online scrapbooking club I was a member off which cost £7.59 a month (after downloading everything I possible could including a couple of stash busting courses of course!)
Wahoo - I think I'm on the way to a being a recovering crafty stash spendoholic
Finally I've agreed a sale of some more hunky-dory toppers on facebook for £25. The lady is contacting me Monday regarding collection so won't count them as yet but will as soon as they have been collectedMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -

Finally found the toppers I was looking for so I could make 2 Mother's Day cards last night.
DH came home and saw them on the table and said 'Ahhh...I've already bought one for my Mum!' Why would he buy a card when he knows he has a crafty wife at home?!

Wow - loving all those wonderful and amazing makes
You are all very talented stash busters and should be very proud of yourselves
Birdie85 - you are not alone - my husband buys cards all the time even though he knows I make them
I have good news to report. Almost all of my items sold at my son's mother's day fair meaning the school made a nice little sum on them and I am now awaiting payment for £90 - wahoo. Not bad considering that all the things were made out of my existing stash
I'm also waiting for a lady to come and collect two paper pads which I have sold via facebook tonight. Only got £5 for the two but it is two more things that I would never use out of my craft room and £5 is still £5
Finally I've got a stall at a craft fair tomorrow so hopefully it will be better than the last couple I've attended and I will sell a few bits meaning I have to use my stash to make more stock
I'm hoping the kids will also use my stash tomorrow whilst I'm out to make me Mother's Day cards
I'm stash busting slowly but surely.
Keep up the great work stash busters:)Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
Yeh - lady collectedthe two paper pads and the £5 is in my Disney spending money tin
2 more to add to my destashed totalMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
Well done craftingmad that's a great sale amount! Good luck for tomorrow.
My counts for today:
17) big project bag
18) little project bag
Both using scraps, and sorted out all my scrap boxes and collections, and have organised and cleared a space, and unpacked my cricut for tomorrow :T although a bit intimidated of it tbh, but we'll see.
The craft room is utter chaos, but I'll try to find a space to take pics of my makes tomorrow x'By all means let's be open minded, but not so open minded that our brains drop out.'0
