I thought I'd start today by de-cluttering the fridge so leftover butternut squash was turned into soup. While I was on a roll I thought the remnants of the bottle of Kung pao sauce would spice it up a little.:eek:
Thankfully I had made some yoghurt this week and a liberal addition of said yoghurt makes it eatable
I also decided to finally tidy up the bag of flour on the work surface which has been nagging me to make bread since before Christmas. Result of that is 24 x 100g buns and a small loaf which should keep me going for a week or so.
As for 'real' stuff, a couple of coats have made it to the clothes donations bag and I've been through more of my books but I've only earmarked one to go. Still there are a few hundred more books to go through, (I love my books and they are mostly factual ones so a Kindle or similar wouldn't help) and I'm sure I will find some that can go.
So it's been a gentle day 1 but the first steps have been taken :jAiming for a Champagne Lifestyle on a Lemonade Budget

Can I join. I seem to do well for a while and then start cluttering.
I am aiming for at least an item a day.0 -

I looked at this I am not convinced it will make more space but it will make it easier to see what you have and easier to take out the the t-shirt you want at the bottom of the pile! What do you use as drawer dividers? or did you find you didn't need them?0 -
Well I started to declutter yesterday and have to say, my bedroom floor can now be seen again! :T
Have a huge wheelie bag thing of items to go to the CS. I intend to take it into town tomorrow and donate them. The longer it stays here the more clutter will gather again.
Started taking the Christmas decs down today - The tree won't be coming down until the 6th, but other bits and bobs came down today. Some have went into another CS bag, and things that haven't been used in years have been added too.
Will go up to LO#s room later on and make a start on their shelves. Get rid of some DVD's toys etc. And make room for the new lot from Christmas lolPay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -
I think i will join!
I am a regular declutterer but i could be more ruthless.
I have already decluttered a few bags of stuff since xmas so im off to a great start.
If you haven't used it or worn it in the last 6 months then you really don't need it, exceptions for me are husbands tools, my craft stuff and xmas decorations.
Good Luck Everyone.:j0 -
