I'd like to join in if that's okay. I've got 3 bags of children's clothing to go to the charity bin. This weekend I'll be going through the freezer to toss out anything that's been in there too long - there are definitely a few things I have my eye on to toss out.
    Saving, decluttering and doing alright.

Been through my wardrobe and culled 3 large bags of stuff, two for the Cs and one for my mum. Really pleased as I did it not long ago, it's looking so much better in there and everything now left is stuff I WANT to wear.

Three packs off OOD tablets going back to chemist for safe disposal.
Room spray added to Cs bag.
    SPC~12 ot 124

RIGHT!! I have been busy decluttering for the past few months but have not been able to update on here (no internet at home :/ )

    So...
I had a carboot stall last month and got rid of EVERYTHING that i took!! I was really very very ruthless. I have to say some things were sentimental and having split from my partner it probably wasnt the best time to decide to get rid as i was in a closure frame of mind, but i have to say i dont regret getting rid of any of it. They are all just objects at the end of the day.... (she tells herself)
SO, i had bought a guitar from a carboot about a year ago with the intention of stringing it and then reselling it. It cost me 50p and the strings cost £1.50 and then i sold it at the car boot for £20!!
There were also various other things - CDs, books, DVDs, a brand new dog bed that my spoilt dog decided he didnt like, some teddies, shoes and random bric-a-brac.
I had about 10 things left and sold them to the stall next to me for £5, so came away with an empty boot and £115 better off!

I also sorted through all my clothes and was quite ruthless with them. I had to be realistic and 'I will wear that when i eventually lose those extra 5lbs' just wasnt cutting it anymore. So the ones that were cheap/own brand i donated to salvation army. The others i put on ebay and made a little money from (cant remember amount).

So i still have a huge pile of beanie babies that need ebay-ing. I had about 100 others that went to the Teddy Hospital, but i have seen that these Ty ones can go for silly amounts online so fingers crossed. I am just rubbish at photographing them, writing a description, packing them up, posting them. It sounds so straight forward written down like that but when you have a huge pile of them the novelty wears off... and i want to make sure they are listed properly with the info about tag generation etc so it is going to take me a while.....

After that, i have a box full of old cassettes that i need to record onto mp3. i got a gadget for it a while ago and have NEVER got around to doing it....

I have sorted through all of my old schoolbooks and had a good burn up at my friends house in her chimenea - it was very therapeutic!

My next challenge is sorting out the craft stuff.

    Annnddd brreeeeaathe.

Thank you all for your inspiration. I may not get chance to post often but i follow all of your progress and experiences. :)

:j Lots of great decluttering going on, well done everyone :j

I have been busy too :) I started in the kitchen and cleared out four bin bags of unwanted items and got them straight out of the house. Most of my cupboards are now delightfully organised and the others will be the same soon.

 and a big welcome to all newbies.

I have been out in the garden for an hour this morning generally tidying up and now the garden bin is nearly full.

Sorted out my receipt in my purse last night, they have all been shredded now. Afterwards I did some general filing.
