Well I've got a stinky cold so that's kind of scuppered my progress a bit. Trying not to be too much of a moaning minnie as I haven't had one for a couple of years, I was probably due for it .

Sacrificial offerings to the Gods of Bin & Goddesses of Recycling:

374-378 five tubes of out of date creams and lotions from the medicine cabinet
379 Pair of tweezers that don't tweeze
380 pair nail scissors that don't cut
381 bottle of cold medicine! All used up
382 bottle shampoo finished up & recycled
383 dried up marker pen binned

And some more stuff sorted for the jumble sale:

    384 & 385 two t-shirts
    386 MP3 player
    387 dice game
    388 vest

and sold on the e of Bay...wait for it....wait for it.....
    389. One keyring

Woooooo! I'll put the proceeds towards my yacht (heh)

I started today to deal with the mail, half of it has been either filed away or recycled/shredded. Thinking of setting up a leverarch for OH's paperwork to stop him leaving it in the pile of mail.

Dealt with the receipts / vouchers etc in my purse. Purse feels so much lighter.

A box of chocolate has also been finished which is now in the recycling bin.

    Plodding along.....

Wanted to get a bit more stuff out of the front room.Well,it is supposed to be mine and OH's bedroom, but it is so full of stuff from other parts of the house.I started by putting away washing that had been hanging around. Also emptied 2 washing baskets full of not-washing: OH's shoes, which he has forgotten the existence of (nearly put them out for charity until I saw the £25 price tag on them),assorted kid's drawings,a few odd toys, etc. So that is the third wash-basket of not-washing I have emptied this week icon_eek.gif.I also started emptying a box of ironing (it was a box because I hadn't had a wash basket to keep my ironing in :rotfl::rotfl:)-did that while watching a documentary on Tv-it is very rare I do ironing.

To make space for OH to put clothes,I tidied up my clothes in a shelving unit we have at the top of the stairs. This means he will be able to empty some of the boxes he has been living out of since Christmas :T

Tomorrow 8yo DD can move her Christmas presents from front room to her bedroom,so that will free up some space.

Meanwhile, did 3 loads of washing. Also vacuumed carpets throughout

    All that was decluttered today:
475-479: 5 magazines. One of the kid's mags that missed being put out yesterday, and 4 of mine.I don't buy mags now (never really used to-more found them/had them passed on,or they are inserts from weekend papers which I used to buy.)Some mags put out today were 4 years old!!
480: I recycled some packaging I had kept for 6 years because it was pretty and expensive :eek:.
    481: one of OH's shoes 017.gif. Kids losing a shoe I understand,but a 46yo guy,really?Put out for recycling

    Hiya everyone

Is anyone else finding this decluttering is addictive ?? :D

We took all the rc to the rc centre today on the way to A*di

I emptied another little box and a bag of really old paperwork, kept a few bits, removed stuff for shredding and rc the rest. DH was laughing as he pointed out we had just taken all the rc and here I was, straightaway, making some more :rotfl:

Hope you all have a marvellous Monday
