Hi, I know it's late in the year but can I join?

I'm mostly trying to learn new crafts so most things I do will be starter projects or stuff where I try to punch above my crafting weight.

    18. Baby shawl for K
    19. Knitted throw for cats armchair
    20. Cross Stitch New Home card for S

I have given up knitting the baby shawl by hand. 313 stitches!! It took me three evenings to knit 10 rows so I have rescued my knitting machine from the loft and found the pattern for the shawl I knitted DD in 1987

Had to replace the sponge bar which I did yesterday and am going to spend some time with the instruction manual today because I haven't used it for fifteen years.

Nearly finished the Map of Kent but am off to Rambling Man all weekend so no crafting time at all.

Hope everyone's lists are coming on well.

I've made another large crocheted square blanket in one colour with a contrast edge just to use up a couple of big balls of wool.
I've gone back to the cardi I started knitting for myself earlier in the year now.

Not the best pic, but I finally made the wall hanging that has been on my list since last year. It's still to get a hanging batten and another weight batten in the bottom. Quite disappointed with how it looks in the pic - it really is much nicer!

Greentiger, the hanging looks beautiful and the cards are very professional

I've dabbled with a bit of knitting on my cardi and made a start on some Christmas baby knitting a neighbours asked me to do but not finished anything for a while

    Hope all are well

Thank you, mrs-m. You're doing well, getting onto Christmas crafting!

Well, we got an invitation to a neighbours 60th birthday bash on Sunday, so I had to make a card for that. I mis measured but I used the 'mistake' to make another card. I also made a hunkydory card for my dog loving friend, but I'm not sure about it - I like the 'mistake' better, lol.

So, barring more unexpected events, that's the August cards done.

Very cute owl fan, I can see both. The first a cute little owl hat, the second photo two stripy bobble hats.
