Ta da! Can I just congratulate you all on continuing to keep calm and craft. I have finally finished the quilt due in March so well overdue! Once I returned to work in September my feet haven't touched the ground and now here I am with no voice anyway so I stitched 2 bits of the binding I hadn't quite caught and didn't want to fray. This is the 'worst bound quilt in the world.' But it is now finished and I'm going to give it to DD tomorrow. If I ever make a denim quilt again I will (1) always stitch a border (preferably a cotton border) as binding directly onto the denim was SOO hard (2) never use needlecord to bind a quilt (3) if I forget to never use needlecord to bind I will make the binding MUCH wider (4) have loved backing with the fleece (thanks Mrs MP I think it was your suggestion) and wouldn't bother with wadding as it doesn't need it! (5) stabilise the non-denim pieces and they stretched and moved something awful (6) pay somebody to quilt the bits properly or buy a long -arm quilting machine (7) A HUGE THANK YOU TO MY £99 SILVER CREST MACHINE BOUGHT FROM L**L AT LEAST 5 YEARS AGO. I SALUTE YOU. If I'm ever rich I will buy another machine but you are fandabbydozy.
