Hi all, love the work I've missed.
I'm so nearly there with the quilt 20793857101_01e63f8c85_k.jpg18th quilt by laneuville01, on Flickr
I took the fleece blanket I'd used for wadding off before I then attached the fleece. It is still really warm and heavy; it didn't need it. It brings on a hot flush just thinking about it! I've added a bit of hand quilted bling to some of the plain denim squares. Just the binding! My new extended deadline is now Tuesday 25th! Wish me luck. I feel like I'm at the bottom of a well with all the sides falling in at the moment with all my lists of things to do. It doesn't help to have a sandtimer in my brain telling me I only have a week left before SOT either!

Charly the patchwork throw you've made looks fab!

I've just started doing patchwork, I bought the complete set of world of quilting at the carboot last week, and I mean everything! 5 binders of mags, all the fabric, wadding, backing, scissors thread and lots of other bits for £2. Couldn't believe that's all the seller wanted. I've made the first 14 squares this week so have 66 more to do. I may be some time!

These are great; there are some tricky bits in there. Well done, mrs-m.

  • Ive put a couple of photos on the Flickr group, some baby headbands I've made for a neighbours Christmas due DDG and this weeks stocking update.

Not managed to fit any quilting in this week, I'm really enjoying it greentiger. I haven't done the more technical type of quilted squares before so I'm so glad I got all the templates and instructions with the fabric, still can't believe what a bargain I got.
Not sure if I'll get all my projects done but I'll give it my best shot and I'm enjoying the ones I'm doing

  • Oh my goodness what a bargain Mrs M! I missed my deadline.:o But I've just stitched the binding to the back by machine after watching You tube so many times showing me how to do it! Just got to turn it over and machine stich it from front. Then I can sign it!!!! This has been a HUGE labour of love!

Long time, no post. Hope you are all well, I'm planning a catch up on all your projects.
Most of my 2015 crafting has been focused on one stocking, it's taken forever but is now finished except for the name tag and backing. Will post a picture when done.

I did however take a break to make this as a wedding present (I said it was for their first Christmas tree as a married couple)

The sign post in the kit said 'snow peas' so I changed it to their initals and the year
