Keep you chin up - the first week back is always the hardest - I am right there with you too!
    Debt - CCV £3792
CCB £1383 (took a hit for a holiday)

    Loan 1 £1787
    Loan 2 £1683
    Total £8601 Was £39302
  • Thanks debtfree2012!

Nothing much to report today. The Amazon gift card swagged earlier in the week has landed in my account already, so the christmas fund is off the ground. I've had the big lads insurance documents through and reading through he's still insured as a ridden horse (I've not ridden him a good 2 years due to his arthritis and him needing more work than his joints can comfortably take to keep him a sane ride!). I've run a couple of quotes and can save £80 a year by just insuring him as a horse at grass so will get this changed prior to the renewal.
    Have a good day x

  • Haha I wouldn't say amazing debtfree2012 but it makes me feel a wee bit better!!!

Hi baldy bear  thanks for popping by.

Day off today - easing myself back into this whole work malarkey gently! House needs a bit of TLC as its been very neglected since we went back to work. Field also needs clearing if I can get the wheel barrow through all the mud

Ebay items finish on Sunday - still no bids but plenty of watchers so fingers crossed there.

Diet is going pants :( too much temptation around and it really doesn't help that going back to work has completely wiped me out. Need to give myself a kick up the bum - I'm sure I'd feel loads better if I actually did some exercise!

    Morning hun

Wean yourself into your diet, I am. I will give up immediately otherwise. ;) Won't the field clear itself in this wind lol?

    It's Friday wahoooo!

  • I'm certainly weaning myself in - altho probably doing more damage in the process lol! Down to my final choc Orange and bag of choc coins, so once I've removed the temptation it's time to get focussed!!!!

Managed to get the field clear yesterday afternoon, so one less job for the weekend.

Almost ready to swag another GC, so will aim to spend a bit of time swagging over the weekend - whilst hiding from this nasty weather!

Looking at my budget things are gonna be very tight between now and payday. Doesn't look like they'll be much scope for overpayments other than the ebay sales ending tomorrow.

Have resurrected my change pots. Didn't do this last year and really missed it. The year before I managed to change about £70 worth which was very welcome - felt like free money as I didn't miss the odd 20p here and there.

    Have a good weekend :)

    Hi Scatty,

Thought I would pop over and find your diary - subscribed!!!

I have been pretty good food wise this week but did have some sweets last night  It is hard when there are bits in the cupboard people bought me for xmas. Perhaps next year I need to tell everyone not to get me sweets! :D

Good luck on your debt free journey - I will be following !

    Here's to 2015!!

Hello! You're doing great! I cheated on my diet tonight as well, couldn't resist two hulking great big chunks of bread :). They were nice :)
Hope you feel a bit more refreshed after the weekend, I don't know how you manage, you get up sooooo early, well done to you x
£250 shopping, diesel and any other spends
    December 16- January 15 £345.06/250.00 -£95.06
    £2 saving a day for christmas 2017 £0/£730
Total debt paid off before 26 December 2017 £3142.31/14,053.85 = £10911.54 left to go
  • I've always been an early bird cwtchie - even in my life before horses! Just don't seem programmed to be able to lie in!

Hi orange fairy:hello: - think I'll be joining you next year and requesting no choccies or sweets. I can't resist the temptation! Although bizzarely I've jumped on the scales this morning and have lost 2lb :j:j:j. Not quite sure how but I'm certainly not complaining.

We've lost a couple of fence panels in the storms. We've known the fencing was on its way out for a while and managed to replace half over the summer. Looks like we'll be doing the other half sooner rather than later  can't leave it too long as we've got the woofs and can't run the risk of them going AWOL. Priced it up and we're looking at £145. Looks like a spend for next payday :(

On a more positive note - one of my ebay items is upto £30 and have collected a few more watchers on the others ending tonight, so fingers crossed.

Right I'm off to chop some veg for this weeks soup and then time to sort the woofs and gee gees :)
