Hope you got your lie-in - I am sitting on the sofa soggy and cold after being woken up by my husband saying Merlin had attempted one of his ninja escapades into next door and got stuck on the fence. By the time I'd covered enough skin to be decent and run outside, he was happily grazing in next door's field and while I went to get a headcollar and leadrope, the dog vanished and the hail started.0

Well I laid in till 8.30, not bad I suppose

Mucked out yard and soggy mud area which took ages. DD mucked out stables. Came up, sat down for tea and bickies and down it came! hail wind and rain, ran down to get them in and got soaked, had to changed all over again! Me and DD giggling our heads off at the state of us running round in the rain like loons, even the horses run in lol! DD tried to start the quad while I unhitched the trailer and pushed it into the open stable area but the electric start is dodgy and she had to pull the cord, what a state lol!
Anyway....spent the afternoon trying to alter a pair of DD's trousers for DS's girlfriend to wear in her new job next week, she is super excited, I'm really pleased for her, I like her a lot
Didn't get round to finishing the accounts yesterday and didn't look at them today so no one got paid, job for Monday or Tuesday, hmmmmm saying that will try tomorrow or will be Wednesday, I'm training on Tuesday.
Quick tea of Southern fried chicken, out of a packet and chips tonight
I'm trying a new venture, well not new really just re kindling an old one. DH and DS got me involved in making leather car seats a while ago, but I lost confidence when I couldn't manage to get one particular bit right, so instead of persevering ....I gave up
. So now they have said to give it a go again but with different supplies. I do love sewing and would LOVE to make them again, the ones I did weren't bad and when DS advertised the first one lots of potential customers came forward, but I just was so particular I couldn't do it
. Anyway I'm sourced some lovely materials and I'm going to give it another go, wish me luck x £250 shopping, diesel and any other spends

Today I found out that I had the contract, thanks for saying! But it is ending in a months time, so that's ok helped me out financially while it lasted.
The exact figure is downstairs at the mo but I ended up paying £500 or so off the overdraft in February, lower than I hoped but I haven't been paid £720 so would have been £1220, I'm pleased with that
. All credit cards are down, not by much but at least in the right direction.
I've been on the road so much lately that I haven't had much time for cooking, also each time I tried the Rayburn broke, if I get time tomorrow I'm going to do some cakes, they are so much cheaper than chocolate biscuits.
The bigger one went well again tonight, DD chuffed, the younger one....let's not talk about it!
Monkey pony had his feet trimmed tonight, good boy he was
Out most of day on training, internet awareness etc. wow shocking
. Have been right through all my privacy settings!
So excited tonight, mum has bought us a spreader for the fields! So as soon as we get it DH will finish harrowing and rolling and will then fertilise. Can't wait, it's making me think of long summer grass, which of course equals tiny amounts of mucking out.
I really don't know the reason but I am feeling happy tonight, lots of relaxed sighs going on. I'm going out on Friday with the girls for lunch, I'll make it as cheap as possible, a baguette and a coffee probably, it's just nice to get together window shop and natter
Oh I nearly forgot the trainer today was a retired detective from up country, investigated lots of murders and yucky stuff, as I love Midsomer murders it was like having my very own Tom Barnaby in the room, so I told him! Lightened the mood anyway

Yay I had a payment through! Thank goodness for that! I really thought I would have to wait for the next payroll but they did mine early

Working this weekend again so brilliant news there. Another new contract in the offing, waiting to hear the details so I can see if it suits.
DS has been having a wardrobe built in his room, it's very nice and he paid for it so no more messy bedroom I hope. I can't wait for it to be finished, carpenter is coming tomorrow to finish, then I can empty my spare bedroom which is full of DS stuff back into his room, clutter does my head in!
Made kebabs tonight, everyone enjoyed them, phew!
Mucked out when I got back this morning, well DH and my mum had almost finished so I just did one stable. Then came up and did a bit of housework, I looked out and aarrgggghhhhhhhhhhh rain, run quick! Get them in!, did they want to come in....no! Eventually I got them, came back up ate dinner and ...rain stopped. Anyway I left them in and put them out later this afternoon, then re mucked out,hay topped up and fed them, DD brought them in then later.
Sewing bee tonight I wait all year for it, I wish it was on more regular.
Have done a few loads of washing today but two of them had to be tumbled, not usual for me but needs must.
I've been watching the mpg calculator in my car and since DH fixed it I can nurse it up to about 63 mpg. Today DH and DS took it to tow in a car and they used half of the diesel I had left and my average mpg is 36!!!! Well!
Can't complain really they are earning money
Had full intentions of having a long bath tonight as my sciatica has been bad today, first had to wait for the water to heat, then just as I was dosing, leapt up and out, sewing bee was on and I'd forgotten, ah well I managed 20 mins of soaking

Yay iPad back!
Spent a busy day today running here there and everywhere
A man knocked the door a few days ago, asked if we'd do a survey, ummmm...yeah ok, well he did offer £20 love to shop vouchers
Horses all ok, ridden tonight and no bucking, just well behaved, so bonus.
I made pizza, the dough was pants so we couldn't eat it, fish and chips instead, I also threw some of last nights chips in the oven covered in salt and pepper, and they were awful, so not a good day in the kitchen!
Checked the greenhouse, all ok, weeded the m!nage the grass is stubborn! Walked the fields with the pups and the fencing is looking good, ground is drying up nicely.
Cleaned, cleaned and cleaned, finally the house is somewhere where I want it clutter wise
A lovely friend gave me a huge reel of upholstery fabric tonight, I'm thinking the lorry needs an overhaul yay!
I'm hoping to go for a cuppa with a friend tomorrow morning, I've text to make sure it's still on but haven't heard yet, fingers crossed.
Contract still running, have had details of Another one which I've agreed to, and also did extra on the weekend, phew!!! So busy!
DH and I have had no time for ourselves and desperately want to go away for a few days but we've decided to wait till the weather is a bit better, especially as I have so much work in at the moment, make hay while the sun shines, they say

Today I cooked dinner lunchtime and then warmed it up at tea time, just in case DD rode and we would not get to sit down till after 8pm. I made mash, yorkshires, carrots and chicken pie. Extra mash that I'm going to mix with corn beef tomorrow and make a pie.
DD did lunge the younger one who went really well, incidentally all of a sudden she seems to have grown and filled out, she's officially 8 on June 23rd and both my other two Warmbloods seemed to suddenly mature around 8, it just surprised me tonight when I looked at her and then I realised her age and remembered the other two did the same, so not my imagination after all lol
I didn't was the bigger one ridden or lunged tonight due to the weather, he is much more susceptible to chills etc. (manflu
). He went really well last night and we all had a nice evening, DD riding, me and DH mucking out and tidying up etc. dogs running around, just nice.
Bought some new bedding tonight called Probed, only because the shop had run out of shavings, anyway cheaper than shavings, smells lovely and so easy to put down, it's got my vote at the moment
Had a few questions for work today re pay and the hourly rate I received and fair enough they are going to look into it, with any luck I may get it backdated
. Have a few mini contracts on the go at the mo and one bigger one which is still on going, I'm expecting it to finish any day.
Looking at my bank account if I didn't have to pay the enormous Rayburn bill I might have stayed in the black this month, but will have to move that dream to next month now.
I've had a few days recently where I've kept the heating off, I've given in on other days mind
. Spring is in the air, soon it won't be long before washing is on the line, horses are out in the fields and windows are open all day and most of the night
