Thanks for the tip, apple
Today I am grateful for:
1. Food ready in my freezer for when I can't be bothered to cook from scratch... like today
2. Having a roof over my head, even if it still is at 11.5 degrees inside!
3. My parents. Just because.Letting Go NST #17

Evening all
Bob - the voucher is in the M!rror tomorrow and is £5 off a £40 shop, it usually has an expiry of about a week or 10 days. There are also product specific vouchers which I love to use to get any products we already have but to try some products we've not tried in ald! (and they've always been lovely).
SFD number 13 todayLTW
and went to the gym and ran on the treadmill after work
Also 1lb more lost (actually 3lbs lost but had put 2lbs back on in the meantime!).
Looked at the diary and although there are plenty of days left in the month, I might struggle to get 18 SFDs as I have so many days that I have planned spends on (appts etc). Oh well.

Good evening everyone!
Yesterday:
Got woken up by DH announcing that he was taking DD to school and would go shopping while he was out because we are desperate for loo roll. I shot out of bed to remind him of the stockpile in our downstairs loo and prevent him ruining the shopping budget (he would have come home with £20 worth of stuff!). I went into college late and was back home by lunchtime. DH and DS had polished off everything I had taken out for lunch so that put me in an awful mood! DH then proceeded to constantly make DS shout and scream while I was trying to get on with uni work, and when I snapped at him for it he stormed off upstairs for the rest of the day and refused to come down at tea time. On the plus side, I stuck to meal plans and it was a SFD.
Today:
Got stuck in traffic this morning which meant DD was too late for breakfast club, so I gave her the cereal bars I had packed for myself. I was in work so once again had no breakfast. I had pre made spag bol for lunch though so not all bad. Stuck to meal plan tonight and made a stir fry to use up loads of veg. Found some ham in fridge that needs using so have combined with mushy peas and stock to make soup for lunches. Today has been SFD.
I am grateful for:
Tins of soup and beans that MIL donated to us ( because she had gone so overboard on shopping she couldn't fit any more into her kitchen cupboards!!!!)
We have no snow here (I hate the stuff!)
An alternative route home so I didn't get stuck in the traffic again0 -
Another SFD - it's alternating rain and slushy snow so not left the house.
Nine years to go to retirement so did some practice - sleeping, reading and sewing.
Today I am grateful for takeaway curry (the leftover curry from last year that I put away. It didn't get eaten at Christmas or new Year and though I have been tempted a couple of times I saved it for my birthday)
Books - loving the latest from the library, a slightly quirky detective novel.
Sewing - over the last two days I have nearly completed a cushion cover that was started somewhere between 10 and 15 years ago. Covered an area approximately 18" x 5" but in separate patches. It doesn't 'go' with anything and it's not what I would normally say is 'my kind of thing' but it makes me happy just to look at and I think I will be keeping it once I FINISH it.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
I'm a little bit groggy having just woken up but that means it was your birthday yesterday mothernerd? HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Today I will lose a SFD and buy two Ald! vouchers and therefore will save at least £10 on next month's food budget. If you want one I advise buying the paper earlyish, last time I missed it as didn't buy one before work and then couldn't find a shop with a copy leftLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Sorry for missing you all yesterday! I did not get the early finish I was promised, so I started early and finished late and then was straight out after to the cinema for orange wednesday. Went to see Into The Woods- me and my 5 friends all fell asleep at various points in the film so I guess that pretty much summed up the film. Very disappointing as I was so looking forward to it!
Belated Happy Birthday mothernerd!!
Catch you all later after work x:coffee:
