They have electronic access to the DVLA database of registered keepers.
Please don't ask how 'right' this is - it is as it is - and the DVLA earn millions of £s every year from it at £2.50 a pop from the PPCs. We've argued the case to death ad nauseam, and for ever, but it's still there!
It's like shelling peas for both sides of that arrangement. We've just got to beat the system once the NtK arrives, so it's patience (no contact yet with the PPC) ...... and getting a better understanding about what all this stuff is about (via the NEWBIES FAQ sticky), then, as they say, the job's a good un!Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. Great advice tonight, thanks again. I'm certainly taking all the advice given. Fingers crossed it all works out and the £30 doesn't end up £60 (that's the pessimist in me!)

One of these notices has already been issued to one of the family at the same address from the same car park. Different car. This was paid within 14 days as we knew no different then. (I didn't know about it hence why I didn't mention it previously)
Does this alter anything?
