Many thanks for the info Smedley. Would love to join the challenge and will have 10lb as my target, please can you log my loss this week off it. Can someone confirm when challenge finishes please.
    Loss 4lb.

Shala and the team chart the challenges, god knows how they keep up with the forum!
She will pick your request up, so just watch out for the reply. :)

I remember seeing the date 3rd May for the end of the challenge.

Well done on your big loss (even if it was helped by nature:rotfl:)!

You are allowed 6 weeks holiday in a year. If you are a shift worker and tell the consultant that you are I think you can get round it a bit (depends a bit on what hours you do outside the summer period) but I know that shift workers can book a day off due to working - definitely worth talking to a consultant when you get back and explaining your situation, they may have a workaround.

    Denise

Thank you, 6 weeks would be fine for me as I'll be able to attend class every other week.

Morning all. Woke up and couldn't work out why the house was so dark!! Caught the tail end of the eclipse, it was really weird without the sun. My poor wee cat was freaked right out!

It's funny how animals are affected by an eclipse; they are so eerie, you can understand why people in years gone by thought the world was coming to an end!
LoisLane great loss, it must be fabulous living out in Spain.

    Thank you. :)

I really love it here, the climate is great in the winter but I couldn't live here all year, it would be too hot for me in the summer. DH and I spend 5 months here and work for 7 months in England, but when we retire we plan to be here for 8/9 months.

You may be surprised to hear that the weather in the UK is better than it is here at the moment - we've got low cloud, wind and rain and the forecast is the same for the weekend.

Stressed with work, driving miles with work, gallbladder annoying me, tossing and turning at night and having bonkers dreams.

Been good but feel ill fat and bloated. Waking up thinking every day is Saturday and then it never turns out to be !!! 2mo it is !

Sneaky step on the scales last night showed up 2, no idea how

Tired, very irritable and fed up !!!

Blackberries, blackberries seem to have a laxative effect on me!

Sorry to hear that Lantanna, it can't be any fun having to carry on as usual when you feel like carp.

Any idea when you'll have the op?

bexta - hope you enjoy class, once you have all your books you'll be raring to go :D

Well done all you losers :j:T

Well done on your loss UK tigerlily - you must feel very different losing that much!

Denise - you can have share some of my weight to keep you in range if you like :D

Welcome back Psycho and RFD

RFD - I prefer to add essence flavourings and sweetner to my quark, the Options seemed a bit of a weak flavour for me..

Just watched that programme about sugar Lois, I knew they put sugar in savoury things but I was shocked at how much sugar was in the Pad Thai noodles

Chocpenny - I've added you to the challenge, it finishes on the 3rd May.. I post the chart each Tuesday evening.. welcome

Hugs Mildredd - hope you sort of the legal shizzle soon.. :D @ the easter bonnets! Bet mini will be the envy of the whole place!

Was a bit disappointed with the eclipse - I was expecting darkness for a few minutes, complete silence, birds dropping dead from the sky and aliens landing - I may have had too high expectations! :rotfl:

Negative post from here on in.. sorry :(

Didn't go to class last night but I will declare my home weigh-in result on here and then hang my head in shame - I put on 5lb :o gutted as I thought I'd been good since last Saturday but my weight never shifted up or down over the next 5-6 days :(

I woke up with good intentions this morning but I've so far stuffed my face with packet of crisps, 3 tracker bars and a mini egg cake thingy.. annoyed with myself is an understatement, yet i'd still happily go in there and finish the box of trackers off.. i'm a weirdo!

Anyway, guess i'll get back on track tomorrow - will spend a bit of time doing a menu plan I think..

Thanks Lois, no no idea, just have to wait it out. I would imagine it be all be over within at least 6 months.

I'll be more settled when I get a date I'm sure and can plan around it.
