Hi JPScloud how do I make this thread stay on the front page when lurking I always type Slimming World in the search box.
For Xmas I got a slow cooker so will search this site for SW recipes for the slow cooker.
Looking forward to the challenge starting.
naturaljazz I am slow and steady but when I wish I was one of the people in group loosing 4 or 5ln I remind myself I want to loose the weight forever and it was not the hare that won the race! x
It tends to stay on the front page of Health And Beauty as people post on it a lot - if you add it to favourites, it should open there from your favourites list (the forum, rather than the thread). Not sure if I've helped there, hope I haven't made it any worse!
I love my slow cooker, couldn't live without one now.I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

hwoolgar - love our slow cooker. Only bought it this year and cannot understand why we hadn't got one years ago. Do all sorts in it, including joints of meat, stews and curries.
Welcome to all our newbies :hello:
Another one here heading for bed. Will watch some soaps and if I fall asleep at least I will be in bed.

Thanks for this lovely new thread Shala.
Congratulations musogirl what lovely news to go into a new year with:)
Welcome to all our new members:hello:
I've got my last WI for this year in the morning, it won't be good news, there's been too much cheese and crackers eaten in the last few days, not to mention other naughties like Bombay mix and choccies  Ahh well it's done with now! :rotfl:
Looking forward to getting the new pack, hopefully it'll give me the kick I need to get back on the wagon properly and stop dragging my feet!
With this new thread, a new plan and the new year it's got to be the new start of a new us! :j0 -
Wow, on second page already.
Totally eating all the wrong times and not liking it one bit. Feel sluggish and awful. Can't wait till W.I on Wed and make a fresh start. Dreading it actually cause we have a few 'oh I am so determined to lose over Christmas types" nothing wrong with that in principle but one in particular gets on my nerves and can't wait to ask me how I got on as soon as my bum hits the seat. Oh well, grin and bearing it.
Welcome to any newbies, you will find great support here.0 -
Hello!
I'm back from Wifi exile and my Mum has thoughtfully left me with one last Xmas present- her stinking coldive had it once!! Came home to find everywhere ankle deep in slush  no snow at all at my Mum's- trying to get down my street (aka the Cresta Run
) with a huge holdall, a big backpack, and two cross body bags as well as a pair of crutches- oh yes and wearing highly unsuitable footwear
was no fun!! But I managed admirably. Didn't fall once!
Christmas was a bit of a mixed affair. Last weekend was a blast- was very good on Saturday, went to Harvester, ate loads of salad, drank Pepsi Max and low-syn Becks Blue when we went for drinks afterwards.
Sunday- *cough*we had Premier inn breakfast (again- not too bad, fruit tea, Weetabix and yoghurt with mixed berries, Quorn sausages, beans, poached egg, and tomatoes. We'll forget about the hash browns and crumpets I think :rotfl:) We watched our team win and then I had one small vodka, lime and soda. However this was swiftly followed by a free meal
of a pint of shandy, A massive burger and chips and an Oreo cheesecake dessert. We then successfully gatecrashed our rugby clubs Christmas fancy dress party :rotfl: which left me so traumatised I drank five bottles of Becks Blue, a vodka, lime and soda and a double Disaranno and Coke
I was still traumatised the next day so I ate a chicken Balti pastie, a big bag of Cheesy Wotsits and some falafel and coleslaw.
Xmas Eve consisted of a kebab and two bottles of wine. Xmas Day wasn't too bad but Boxing Day- oh dear. Cake, cream, volauvents, Chicken legs, corned beef pie, cheese twists...!!
The damage is 7.5lbs on according to my scales
I'm going to try this sp plan but it seems I'm going to be living on beans and quorn pieces
wish me luck..!!! :rotfl:*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -

Found you all!!
I'm all for the new SP plan, anyone else as excited as me about it?0 -
Many congratulations musogirl.:)
Good to see you back MrsR, and great that you've had such a good time. I expect you're desperate to get back to healthy eating!;)
Sounds like your dad's going through the mill lush. You're right that it's only for this Extra Easy SP that you can't have potatoes etc. I'm reading it as a sort of new version of Success Express except that it's now in the book as an option rather than something consultants used to offer to people whose weightloss was stalling. It's really just an option to speed things up.
certain foods that were super free are now just free.. bananas, grapes, mango, potatoes, parsnips to name a few off the top of my head
It's strange but we've had the conversation on here about whether grapes and bananas were the best SFs to have??
To be honest I wasn't 100% sure what a spiraliser was. Are you planning to use it to make 'noodles' and the like for the Extra Easy SP?Today I've had
B. Overnight oats with yogurt and frozen berries
L. Bulgar wheat salad and yet more leftover turkey.
Hot banana, yogurt and cinnamon. Mayo - 1 syn
D. Chicken/veg stir fry and noodles
Grapes
Snack. Mini bag twiglets and small glass wine 11 syns
Is anything glaringly wrong there, oh wise ones?
Welcome cat. I'm happy to comment on your menu based on Extra Easy and haven't got my head around new plan yet. I'm assuming that it's FF yogurt with no syns. You've probably got enough for at least a third of S (Speed) food across the day between your berries, salad and stir fry. As above, grapes and bananas are no longer S so take care with those. Otherwise you're doing great. Fingers crossed for a loss.:)0 -
Better late than never!!!
Found you all!!
I'm all for the new SP plan, anyone else as excited as me about it?
I think maybe 'excited' is a bit strongbut I'm planning to give it a try at least a couple of days a week when I get round to my next shop/meal plan.
b.e.g, the good thing about the P (Protein) food is that it can be peas, beans or eggs so not just expensive meat and fish. So adding any peas to a meal would up the protein fairly cheaply.0
