2 shifts to go after this one!!
hope it is a breeze for you...
Don't get me wrong I feel sorry for myself. I just get bored easily :rotfl: and tell myself to shut up internally quite a lot
Ironing is the devils work. Just don't do it. I only Iron my work stuff and Jellys clothes

DFOD work wasn't bad today, except for stinging eyes again, the air conditioning really dries them out.:(
Can't wait till my days off now.
Lilt - yes 2 shifts to go, on countdown to lying on the couch on Wednesday. :j
:rotfl: I tell myself to shut up & stop moaning a lot but it doesn't seem to work, I think I'm a closet drama queen. :rotfl:
I agree ironing is definitely the devil's work. Unfortunately had 7 white shirts to iron for work uniform (both mine & DH's). Managed to do it before work so don't need to worry until next week when I'll have 9 to do. :eek:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Managed 30 mins of Yogalates this morning and feel a bit better for it, really wanted to just lie in bed a bit longer but made myself get up and do it. Eyes are still stinging though.
Just catching up on here and doing surveys - only £3 odds until cash out with OnePoll and that will be another £40 towards one of the loans. :j
Also won the office football pools this week so an unexpected £38.:j:j Not sure what to do with it but might just keep it by to treat myself with, will have a think. Need to buy some biscuits for the office first though or there will be a riot. :rotfl:
Weather is rubbish again, more high winds!Just hope work is not mental.

Well done on the pools win! Is One Poll any good - I've not heard of that one before?DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Thanks DFOD, I just completely guess the scores every week so was a surprise to win.
OnePoll are so-so, nice short surveys but they are only for 10 or 20p and you really need to log in every day to check for surveys. Cash out is quite high at £40 so it can take a long time but I like the fact that the surveys are only 1 or 2 mins long.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Last late shift today then 2 days off. :j
Having another rest day from exercise as woke up all stiff and still knackered, will go on the cross trainer tomorrow as punishment.
Set the washing on a timer again last night so got up this morning and chucked the towels in the tumble dryer. Will try and clean the bathrooms before work but am feeling quite lazy so it might need to wait until tomorrow.
Have ordered a £10 Next voucher from one of my survey sites so will put that towards a pair of jeans once it arrives. Hopefully I'll be able to find a pair in there that suit as have had some from there before that were a good fit.
I like high-waisted jeans as the lower ones just seem to fall down all the time which is highly annoying. Also don't like skinny jeans as I have quite *ahem* robust calves and skinny jeans make my calves look the same size as my thighs. My legs then look like sausages bursting out of their skins. _pale_ So high-waisted, slim leg jeans are a much better option but seem difficult to find.
Also it's payday on Friday :j can then mess about some more with YNAB and see if the way I've set it up is going to work or if I need to start again.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. I am so glad someone else has *robust* calves :rotfl: - skinny jeans look awful on me. They go in and out in all the wrong places, calves included. Make me feel very on show as they aren't comfortable! Prefer my bootcut, and Next do some nice ones, was in there this morning mooching and they have some lovely jeans in for Spring. Not that seasons matter to me. Once I have a pair of jeans I wear them to death for years :rotfl:
Yay for payday and mucking about. I love fiddling with YNAB. I've got £178.01 already sat waiting to be budgeted in February. Slowly but surely I am building a buffer which wasn't my intention but works well with my 4 weekly schedules on tax credits etc. As they move around each month and slowly creep forward I tend to end up using 2 one month, but now I haven't given in to that temptation. It is the little things like that which make it so worthwhile!
Then again my buffer is coming at the expense of food this month as I have saved too much money away from my main accounts. Eager beaver left myself short. Sigh!
Yay... last shift!!! xx

:rotfl: Lilt yes robust calves and skinny jeans do not mix it seems. :rotfl: My sister is a size 8/10 and her calves are also robust, seems to be a family thing for us. She made me paranoid about my ankles by reminding me that "cankles" run in the family - apparently we have no ankles due to our chunky calves.:rotfl:
Yay for building up a budget. :T I'm going to quite enjoy seeing if my YNAB works out on payday.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
I remember when I used to be stick thin, straight up and straight down, with legs for miles. Mines just fat :rotfl:

:rotfl: To be fair I think mine are partly fat too - I'm sure they didn't used to be as bad as they are now - long boots are a nightmare as well as can't get the zip up. I had to buy special boots from M&S with a stretchy panel thing on the side just to be able to zip them up!:o Plus it's still a struggle even then. :whistle:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
